I enjoyed this quick read. For being a novella, it didn't feel rushed at all. It had multiple plot threads that weren't confusing to follow. Not quite the Christian fiction I was expecting, as the characters crossed themselves like Catholics but were self-proclaimed Methodists. Even though there were lots of written out prayers and lots of discussion about God, it didn't feel too preachy for me.
5 stars = the book was fantastic and made me laugh out loud/cry. 4 stars = the book was awesome. No complaints. 3 stars = the book was great, but there was just something off about it. 2 stars = the book was pretty bad, although it had some redeeming qualities. 1 star = the book was awful and should be kindling for a fire.

This story tells how everyone's path crosses - some good, some not so good.
A wonderful Christian Western romance where Ellie is coming out West to help deliver her sister's baby and Liam acting as the assisting doctor in a practice where the senior physician is a curmudgeon stuck in his old ways. They frequently cross paths and have to deal with things that are traumatic, draw them together but also act to separate them. Both are young and tend to be emotional but eventually get their happily ever after.
A young Doctor meets a midwife who is just what he needs in his practice but she doesn't want anything to do with that. It doesn't take long before circumstances throw them together and things get interesting. I really enjoyed this Western romance.
A lot of life issues going on here. An old Dr stubbornly refusing to admit the truth. Liked all the characters and how experience and skill was acknowledged & appreciated. A good outcome for all.
