This was such a refreshing breath of fresh air to read. Two short stories about divorced women getting back out there. Both of the main characters were relatable as well as their circumstances. Each author took the time to write fully developed stories in which I wouldn’t mind a complete novel that picks up where these short stories ended to showcase their friendship.
Having been through a divorce under similar circumstances and left with similar feelings, I could definitely see some of me in each of the ladies in their quest to live again. This gives me hope that I could eventually get my passion back.
This was a fresh, fun collaboration from two excellent authors. The book is about two friends who embark on separate road trips to clear their heads and reflect on their lives after divorce. As each woman rediscovers who she is and realizes that alone she is enough.....they learn to let go of past hurts and live life on their own terms. Diva Reviewer - Angelia
I enjoyed both ladies’ journeys and what a ride! I didn’t realize it would be as spicy as it was. Lol! These ladies really let go of their inhibitions and I loved it. As a writer myself, I related more to Arlington’s character but Dee’s had more of a mystery feel to it and I’m a huge mystery/suspense buff. But both stories were good and intriguing.
This is a good book, most women can relate to the characters. It has some hot and steamy scenes which I enjoyed the most. I just wished that it was more of the friendship between Arlington and Dee.
