The XXX-plorers need to rescue two of their own from a planet of human hunters. And that means teaming up with the makers of XXX-plorers XXX-parody, XXX-XXX-plorers. Yeah, we know it's a lot of Xs. But, hey, maybe that'll sell some comics!
Tim Seeley is a comic book artist and writer known for his work on books such as G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, The Dark Elf Trilogy, Batman Eternal and Grayson. He is also the co-creator of the Image Comics titles Hack/Slash[1] and Revival, as well as the Dark Horse titles, ExSanguine and Sundowners. He lives in Chicago.
Points are for story more than art. Really sparse line style and the faces are way to cartoony. They feel like they need another few days to fill in the details so that it doesn't look so off. Bodies seem good but the faces are just off. The hunter aliens faces are really not doing it for me.
Story moved along nicely. Just as the rest of the crew arrives they run into the missing ones but don't get out before the hunter species 'dogs' get to Earth. The backstory of the 3 aliens and the floaty skull guy was cool and the fact that they powered up Money Shot to allow the rescue was cool. The feral dogs are nicely drawn. They look creepy and the artwork on those works in comparison to the humanoid characters which again need another pass with more detail.
