One important point I can synthesize from this book:

We Muslims (scholars and students) are merely propagators of knowledge. Propagators of Western knowledge. We Muslims should try our best to create a new knowledge. For example, the Muslim scholars during Islamic Golden Age were productive assimilating two Greek works and refined it with the Islamic perspective. I read Wikipedia article about Islamic Golden Age, all of them wrote books. I think we should too. We go to class, listen to the lectures, go back home and write what we have learned and make a commentary on it. This activity is more beneficial than updating status on Twitter.

This book is philosophical. It is filled with jargons which sometimes makes me feel exhausted. However, I will re-read it because it is important and interesting.

A short yet important work on laying the grounds for the epistemological understanding of science in Islam.
