I keep my body still As I open up my eyes. And when I feel I’m ready, I slowly begin to rise.
Rolling up into A comfortable seated position, Breathing in and out For my soul’s nutrition.
This picture book is a nice introduction to yoga. I guess my Kindle Fire was going through a cranky phase, because I had to find the order page and reload it about seven times before I could finally go straight through the book. Like other books by Mary Nhin, it will only work on Fire or a computer NOT on Paperwhite.
This is a delightful book about a bear who chooses to stay calm to banish all negative thoughts and worries. The book's illustrations are great showing the significance of each yoga pose. The best part is at the end there are brief illustrations and instructions on yoga poses that a child can attempt to do. Would definitely recommend to parents and children.
This is such a fun way to start the day. It’s also fun to do at night for everyone to wind down. The story is fun and well written. The pose explanation and drawings is perfect for younger children who want to see what they should be doing.
Such cute and colorful illustrations. My kids enjoyed the rhyming and learning the different yoga poses. Great little intro book on yoga, relaxing, and breathing. Everyone can benefit from this book.
Cute book on teaching kids on yoga and why some people do it. I also liked that at the end of the book it showed each pose that was mentioned in the book and what it does to your body.
