Daniel "Rayid" Tear, supported by Count Winslow, seeks justice and vengeance in equal measure. Betrayed by Jekkel the sorcerer after his victory, Rayid seeks to root out the corruption within the Great Cathedral of the Harvester and the rest of Sowers Vale. But his plans are cut short when the machinations of the Dark Valley begin to sprout fruit. War will come to the small northern duchy, war on two fronts. And Rayid will need allies.
All the while in the shadows of the world, a foe once thought defeated will rise again. The plans of the Great Valley and its dark minions are laid, their rituals are set in motion, and powers long thought dead on Ethria have started flexing their will. Against such odds, Rayid with his companions and new found abilities will muster all they have. But, will it be enough?
I have read all three of your books. The stories you tell are wonderful. The world building is fantastic. Where you lack is the grammar and word choice. When reading things like "He coughed, and his lounges we're full of ash." Completely breaks the immersion of the story. Once in a book is passable. But I started sending in corrections and probably did more than 20 between all the books. Most of them in the third.
Overall good book. Good series and I will continue to read them.
A quite enjoyable LitRPG romp. This installment in the Ethria series is light on Numbercrunching elements but is otherwise more than satisfying on the action parts. Daniel and his friends are still on their quest to free Pina from the clutches of the Sorcerer and there are quite a few problems in their way... An undead army, Assassins, Traitors...
Enjoyable 3rd Book in the series, but too many obvious spell check errors marr the experience. The characters are a delight, story is engaging and many tidbits of plot points for future world building make this a worthwhile series to follow. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.
I enjoyed this book series immensely. The MC develops well but is rather immature and a little naive. He has an idealized view of life in which reality, as far as the book goes, doesn’t line up and this makes his life more difficult.
Very enjoyable book. I really liked it and I am looking forward to the next book. The only thing wrong is it has a little bit of profanity. But it wasn't much.
