“You’re ruined my life, Derek, dan aku mau… Aku mau kamu melihatnya. Tapi bagaimanapun aku membalas dendam, aku yang tersakiti. So, you know what, I’m telling you now, let’s be real you and me, we’re destructive, toxic, and we just can’t be together. Kamu tidak pernah tau artinya memperjuangkan, Derek.” - hal. 97
This is too painful but also heartwarming. Butuh 2 hari menyelesaikan buku ini tapi angst banget! Belum bisa move on 2 minggu lebih.
If you think this is gonna be a fairy tale, you better think twice. Just prepare your heart.
“I despise you. Every inch of you. To the corner of me, I despise you.”
The moment Arviana said that to Derek, I knew this book was going to be messy in the best way.
Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off is the definition of love and hate tangled together. Derek and Arvi constantly clash, argue, and hurt each other, but the tension between them never disappears. If anything, it makes everything more intense.
You can feel the resentment, the history, and the emotions they refuse to admit out loud. It’s frustrating, dramatic, and completely addictive to read.
Derek and Arvi are exhausting, chaotic, and somehow still impossible to look away from.
I don't like the royalty system at all. Why can she write that Derek is from Russia but all of a sudden Arvi is from somewhat place in Java? Like why not the whole country? I don't like their relationship either, I can't determine whether they like each other or hate each other for the whole book. And I personally don't like Derek. He's an adult yet act like he didn't know what he wants for almost the first half of the book.
could never miss any of cecillia wang's books, so right on point! i loved this book, cant wait for the next one even though i'm pretty sure it might break me...
