In Volume 2 of Popular Ghost Stories, author Andrew Lee serves up a further selection of ghoulish and grisly tales from Malaysia as well as a pick of letters from readers with their own supernatural experiences to share. In 'The Shadow' a man is plagued by a dead man's shadow and wonders how to rid himself of it, and in 'One Less for Dinner' diners at Happy Restaurants discover fortune cookies containing sinister predictions. In 'Apartment Number 999" the new tenants begin to realise why the rent is so cheap, and a reader writes for advice about her mother who she suspects may be a vampire.
Compulsively readable. Some plot lines were annoying and old school??? But again, it's compulsively readable. Btw, page 150 has a typo. Seriously, this is the second reprint!
