Hudson Tanner is content working as an English teacher and grading papers every night. Organized and orderly is the name of the game. He doesn’t expect much to change when a friend gives him the opportunity to dog sit for a week. He couldn’t be more wrong when a gorgeous free-spirit turns his world upside down and has him floating on cloud f.i.n.e.
Oakley Russo lives life to the fullest and flies by the seat of his pants. He’s easygoing and without a care in the world. While he does odd jobs and bartends at a local pub, woodworking is his real passion. Surprising his sister a bit early for their planned visit sounds like just the ticket until fate decides to test his resolve the minute he walks through the door.
When their two worlds collide, will sawdust fly, or will their differences make for a failing grade? Is it true that opposites attract, that they can learn from each other, or is that an impossible feat?
Reese and Tristan are my new favorite couple! The scenic town of Silver Falls is the perfect backdrop for this sweet and sexy Christmas story. I love this author and how she creates such quirky and lovable characters. The supporting cast fits into the storyline perfectly, creating a well-written and enchanting read!! Five stars for me!!
Claire Castle is one of my favorite authors and her books always make me feel better from start to finish. Cloud Number F.I.N.E. did exactly that with its wonderful low-angst and sweet/romantic storyline. Hudson and Oakley have a funny meet-cute moment when Oakley goes to his sister's house and scares Hudson. Hudson was dog-sitting Oakley's sister's cute little dog, Bailey, when an intruder breaks in and a hopeful and eager friendship begins. Each men along with Bailey add their own touch to this story and Oakley is a free-spirit floating from place to place whereas Hudson has his feet planted solidly on the ground. I really enjoyed Cloud Number F.I.N.E. and Hudson and Oakley are definitely FINE together. The title just made me laugh so hard especially once it was explained in the book. Bailey like all the cute doggies in Claire's books stole the show and my heart :) He's so adorably precious :)
Hudson and Oakley were adorable...not to mention Bailey. I love how Claire Castle adds in the sweetness of dogs into her stories, and not just as pets. They are each their own characters, adding so much life to the story.
This very sweet, non-angsty tale left me feeling hopeful and happy. It was definitely a feelgood read for when you need a pick-me-up or a break from life.
All the feels in a cute, sweet romance. Definitely recommended. I'm not completely sold on the pizza, though...
These two were very cute together. The story had that feeling of holiday romance in how fast it moved. It was nice how the opposites attract thing worked for them.
