Four Great Dragon Stories

This volume collects four "longer" short stories with dragon themes, two by Deborah Cullins Smith and two by Michelle Levigne. Each author contributes one story of a more traditional fantasy vein, and one story that incorporates dragons into another genre...horror for Smith, sci-fi for Levigne.

All four stories are engaging and well-written, but I must admit that I enjoyed the latter, "non-traditional" stories more. This is more a reflection of my own personal tastes, but both authors do an excellent job of showing that dragons are not just for "high fantasy" stories. Check this book out, especially "The Hideaway" and "Jax."
