Paola Vladimirovna Utevskaya (Cyrillic: Паола Владимировна Утевская) (1911-2001) Ukrainian prose writer. Member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine.
In 1925 she graduated from the labor school, in 1931 - the workers' faculty of the Kiev Institute of Chemical Technology, and in 1941 - the philological faculty of the Kiev University. Member of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. In May 1942, she was shell-shocked and seriously wounded. She was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, medals.
From 1945 to 1949 she worked as a literary consultant at Literary Gazette, and later worked for the Vitchizna magazine.
Paola Utevskaya wrote science, art and history books for children of all ages.
In the post-war years, literary-critical articles and essays by Paola Vladimirovna were published in the magazines "Vitchizna", "Dnipro", "Raduga", "Pioneriya", "New World", fairy tales and stories mainly in the magazine "Barvinok".
