No matter what, she's mine...for better, or for worse.
Giovanni: When you take two individual strands and twist them together, you make them stronger. Amelia refuses to see the strength we share, so I will make her. Both our lives are now on the line. I won’t let her go, though, and I won’t let anyone else take her from me. Twisted, yes, but Amelia is mine. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep our bond alive.
Amelia: Giovanni Bianchi is my nemesis and my savior. My protector and my captor. Facing my own demons makes me face the truth. Despite it all, Giovanni is my heart. It is only for him that I burn. I’ll #ght to the bitter end to try to salvage one more chance with him.
This is the final book in the Twisted Trilogy. It is a dark mafia romance with Beauty and the Beast vibes. Trigger warnings apply.
Redeeming dark and dangerous heroes one book at a time. Skye Jones is an award winning and USA Today Bestselling Author. She writes dark mafia and contemporary romance as SR Jones, and angsty paranormal romance as Skye.
When not writing Skye can be found reading, dog herding, or watching gritty dramas on Netflix with her husband. She lives in the grey, windswept north of England, which fuels her taste for the dramatic and the gothic.
Very much enjoyed this series and this is a brilliant end book, so much more I want to know about so many things, time to be patient. Fantastic characters and plot twists. Expect nothing and expect everything all at once , type of book. Brilliant!
I think I read this while I was extremely busy with other events so that probably didn't help this book. For the majority of this first book, I just really wasn't feeling it at all and it was like a chore to finish if I am honest. It just felt too surface level and boring. It seemed like I had read this all before... it wasn't exciting!
The series as a whole wasn't bad but it was just meh. The writing was ok but too many details are overly repeated that aren't necessary or clues for the future events of the book.
If I read less, I might've appreciated this book more since I'd have less to compare it to.
Having said that I did like the characters, I think they were the only reason I stuck with the series.
So worth the wait with sunshine and lemons! Yes, sunshine and lemons!
S.R. Jones' Twisted Bond, book 3 of the Twisted Trilogy was EVERYTHING!
Although, there were major half-truths to their beginning, this couple proved to be another of Jones' riveting opposites attracts couple where nothing could keep them apart.
So read Twisted Bond and swoon over Giovanni Bianchi and the sweet but gutsy principessa, Amelia!
Honestly I was expecting something more epic. It was like the author rushed. It was over before it even started. She forgave him instantly. There was never a showdown with the bad guys and it was like rainbows and glitter. The first two books I loved. I felt like this was too easy and basically could have been two books with this short ending. I definitely think this book has way more potential. Maybe she plans on writing books for his brother and we will have a little closure and the action I like about her books.
Very predictable as I said in my review of the previous book. Gio made a total 360 with his attitude and feelings. I still don’t like him. Good read I think Marcello’s story will be really good.
I was looking forward to the conclusion of this trilogy, but I was really disappointed. It was a very short read which was dull and boring! Everything became sickly sweet and nauseous! Sorry,a real let down for me!
This is the 3rd book in the Twisted Saga and I do recommend reading them in order. Giovanni and Amelia’s story continues. After Amelia ran Gio knows that she could be in danger and he must find her and at least make sure that she is save. He has decided when they meet again, he will set her free and hopefully she will come back to him. Amelia’s grandmother is up to no good and with the help of her new friends she plans on getting away. Will Gio and Amelia find their way back to each other? Fast-paced emotional read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it.
First of all, there is no reason for this trilogy not to be one book. I feel that maybe the author is trying to generate money. The book reads like it’s written by a student trying to write enough words in an essay. Even though I loved Giovanni and Amelia’s story, this third installment was disappointing. It is mostly inner monologue and repetitive. Everything is over so quickly - there wasn’t much action. There are lots of mistakes. I wish writers would learn that the word whoa is w-h-o-a. There is no such word as woah. Anyway - I would’ve liked more closure with the grandmother, and it would have been nice to have the wedding included, but I guess I’m glad I finished the story.
I read all the books in this trilogy. JMO: all three could & should have comprised ONE book. All were over narrated in some areas, therefore the pacing suffered.
Also, series was not prepared for the U.S. market. There were too many areas that reeked British jargon, causing me to stop and have to think the meanings. That ultimately had a modifying effect on character actions & reactions.
Very talented writer but could use a good developmental editor. And a good transitional editor.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the final book in the Twisted Trilogy by SR Jones. I have loved following the story of Amelia and Geo and this book picks up right where the other book left off. Amelia is sequestered in a Sanatorium at her grandmothers request. She says that Amelia is irrational because she left without saying a word to anyone which also meant she left her responsibilities behind. But it does not take very long for Amelia to decide she needs to escape because she has figured out exactly what happened to her own mother. In the meantime Geo is frantic and is going to get Amelia back and take her to Italy on her own terms because he is so in love with her and can not live without her. However the journey for Amelia is not that simple nor is it back and white and she discovers a lot of dark family history that makes her question everything she has ever know. But one thing she does know for sure is that she is in love with Geo and also can not live without him either. This story is a emotional rollercoaster but so worth all the emotions that your going to go through and I loved more than anything watching Amelia bloom and come into her own. What a way to end this series. I loved this book so very much and can't recommend this series enough.
OMG, I was a nerve rack because I was dying to read this book. The way the previous one and ended... Oh boy... SR Jones is the bomb writing Mafia books. All her previous books are to die for and you'll love each one. Her writing is raw and wild, intense, and with so many emotions in the mix. Twisted Bond is her latest release and it's the third book from the Twisted Trilogy series. Guys, one piece of advice, this is not a standalone therefore you must read Cruel Promise, Dangerous Vow, Savage Legacy, and only then Twisted Bond. This book keeps exploring the lives of Gio and Amelia. These two have this love/hate relationship if you can call it that. They have great chemistry but he's arrogant and she's stubborn. To understand them better, you must read the other books first. Trust me, you'll love it. OMG... What a book... It was the perfect ending to an amazing trilogy. Amazing plot, very well written, super engaging, and super intense. You can feel their emotions in every scene. Once I started to read this book I couldn't stop. Things were happening and the need to know more was super strong. Scene after scene, you could feel their oh ain't, their emotions, their struggles. There were parts of the book that I saw myself holding my breath afraid to miss something. I loved it, and I loved it more was the fact that Maya is in this book as well. I missed her sassy mouth. I loved this trilogy so much that it made me sad that it's over. I wanted to keep reading non-stop. I want more. Great book SR, perfect in every way. When will we get the next book? And the next? I'm greedy, I know and I don't care.
I'm speaking pregnancy-trope.
Third and final book in this trilogy, wonderful read simply captivating
This is a simply wonderful read as the third book in this series and we see the rescue of Amelia by her love Gio who from the day he saw her as a young girl wanted her, then he had come to rescue her after she had run back to her grandmother who had then sent her to a insane Asylum, the very place her mother had been killed after illegally being locked behind the evil wars.
When the couple get back together and Gio explains to her what had happened to her mother and why they had been so adamant she marries her grandmothers choice of man since the death of her father but Gio had rescued her from this fate. Now that she is back in the arms of her lover and understands how much she is loved in her new Italian hone, they all treat her so kindly.
As the Gio and Amelia return to the Italian home filled with lemons and books and they both discover that there is quite the surprise on the horizon. This was a wonderful end to this Saga and I cannot wait to read the future books by this wonderful author.
I assure you that once you begin reading yu will find it impossible to put this final book down until you reach the very end. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
The final chapter of Amelia and Gio's story is heartwrenching, suspensful, angst filled and it will touch your soul with it deep examination of the human heart and mind. The story picks up where we were left off and Amelia is sequestered in a sanatorium as per her grandmother's request. They claim that she is irrational, because she left without saying anything to anybody and left her responsabilities behind. Soon Amelia understands what happened to her mother and is looking for ways to escape. Meanwhile Gio is frantically looking to get her back and bring her to Italy on her own terms. You see, our valiant ogre is in love and can not live without Amelia. The suspense of her dramatic escape of the asylum and her reconnecting with Gio, will bring Amelia to face some dark family history and put everything in question. With the help of her friends and Gio's efforts to get her back, she will soon start to flourish and grow stronger. In usual SR Jones fashion this story will take you to the depth of human despair to high elations and the characters will leave a lasting memory. I volunteered to review this amazing story.
She left Italy because she thought that she would be safer at home, and she had a plan that she wanted to put in place to prevent having to marry a man that she didn’t love. However, she was not prepared for the danger she found herself in back in Maine.
He was going crazy because she left him, and he knew that she was in danger no matter where she went if she was not with him. Now he had to go to the US and find her and bring her back, but he had to deal with a few things to ensure her safety before they could find their HEA.
Amelia fought Giovanni at every turn and when she found herself in danger after returning to her grandmother, she needed to find a way to save herself because she left the only man that could have saved her. Trust is betrayed, secrets are revealed, and danger lurks for Amelia. When she escapes the bonds holding her, she’ll find friendship, love, and a real family. I loved this story and the characters. The story is action packed, dark, sinister, and full of great characters. I give this story a 4-star review and I am looking forward to reading more of SR Jones’ books in the future.
Having been tricked by her grandmother, Amelia is trapped in the place she knew to dread the institution her mother was sent to and never returned. When Giovanni learns not only has Amelia escaped and gone back to the States but where she is being kept he will go to any lengths to get her back and make her see they are meant to be. But will Amelia want to go back to another cage, one she escaped before? Has Giovanni seen the error of his way? Can he see the true path to secure their future, or lose her. Or will something bond them together forever. SR Jones has delivered another epic Trilogy! The way she writes transports you to another place, with descriptive scenes, that grab your attention. The story line draws you in with suspense, twists, desires, steamy hot scenes and more! The characters have you falling in love with their humour, understanding emotiosn and possessive ways. And who doesnt love seeing the blast form the pasts in Andruis, Violet, Konstantin, Cassie, Damien, Maya, Reece, Marcus and more!
Twisted Bond is the conclusion to Amelia & Giovanni, so you simply cannot start with it or you'll lose so much and that means YOU MUST READ THEM IN ORDER. Twisted Bond picks right back up where Savage Legacy ended, and Amelia is in a lot of danger because she acted without thinking. Giovanni is spinning his wheels about where to find her, and he's getting darker & darker. There's a lot going on in this book that's for sure because all twists are coming out for everyone, and there are some big doozies that's for sure. SR Jones totally knows how to pen intricate plots that are intense and addictive, while keeping me on the edge of my seat while dropping loud f-bombs. The women are tough, the dangerous men have big hearts deep down, and no one better try to mess with any of them or else. I LOVED the Twisted Trilogy so much that while I needed to know, I found myself sad when it was all over so now the impatient wait begins for the next book that this author releases! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
When the story picks up, we find Amelia once again under the control of her cold, and calculating grandmother, facing the prospect of a bleak future – unless…
I was anticipating considerable tension and conflict within this story as a result of the cliffhanger ending in the previous book, and came away somewhat disappointed in that regard. I was also quite surprised by how Amelia’s conflict with her grandmother ended quickly and with so little fanfare, despite her grandmother being a significant threat in the previous books. The main thrust of the story focused on repairing the fractured relationship between Amelia and Gio. There were some hard truths, realizations, and challenges before they eventually found their HEA. It’s a quick read with plenty of drama, angst, and emotion, plus a bit of humour in addition to some steam.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The first two books wowed me, but this one, not so much. I wanted to like it, but couldn't as much as the other two. I think everything was resolved much too easily. I was looking for popcorn and drama. Instead, I received saltine crackers and an insurance commercial. Overall, I'd still rate the series a good four stars.
Now, time for a rant:
I wish folks would stop complaining about cliffhangers. The author clearly stated this was a series, and to give a lower rating because of a lack of funds--plain sucks and is more than a little petty. The author can divide books however they want, and as long as the reader knows *upfront* there will be more books, why the fuss?
*stepping down from my soap box*
I do like SR Jones writing style, and I'm in fact reading the Bravata Blood Series which I am enjoying very much.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the 3rd and final book in this phenomenal trilogy, and this story continues straight on from where #2 ended. Amelia has been sectioned as per her grandmothers’ request to the same sanatorium which her mother was sent to and never left. Gio finds out that Amelia has escaped and returned to the US, and he is frantically looking for her. Amelia now knows what happened to her mother and is planning her escape. Gio and Amelia may be complete opposites, but nothing will keep them apart, and they compliment each other perfectly. This is a well written story which is heartwrenching, and with drama, twists, emotions, suspense, angst, family, humor, and love. I was completed enthralled throughout this riveting page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I always highly recommend.
Giovanni Bianchi is shocked with the disappearance of Amelia and he will do whatever he can to get her back.
This is the third book in the series and everything comes to a great end!
I felt horrible for Amelia with what she had to endure at the beginning of this book and how she was betrayed by someone she thought loved her. I think this really opened up Amelia's eyes to who truyl cared about her.
I liked that Giovanni was open with Konstantin about everything and how he was stopping at nothing to get Amelia back. I was so happy when he made Amelia realize how much he truly loved her and wanted her forever.
This book had some great revelations although some we were already pretty sure of.
I'm really curious to see what is going to happen with this series and if we get some more books as things aren't completely finished.
This is the third book in the Twisted saga, and begins where book 2 left off. You need to read Dangerous Vow & Savage Legacy first. Giovanni recognises the danger Amelia faces but Amelia can save herself. There’s a shift in Giovanni when he realises he could lose Amelia, and he bargains for her safety. I love the humility he expresses when his wishes are granted & his care of Amelia with what she has to face is lovely. The return to Italy & the wonderful descriptions transported me to a warm place with sunshine & lemons. I loved seeing characters from previous books, and meeting Georgie & Rina, and hope Marcello & Janey get a story.
I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
Amelia escapes and runs right into the clutches of calculating Grandmother (who Gio knew was a threat to her but didn't feel like he had the guts to tell her and hurt her)
She finds herself in the same predicament (though less lethal) as her mother. She makes some friends the first few days, figures out how to save herself and is also rescued by Gio.
Her friends turn out to have powerful fathers that if we haven't seen the Motorcycle Club in past books, are probably on the horizon.
Gio pulls his head out and confesses to Amelia how he has felt since he met her years before. It was very antilimatic to me.
I didn't hate how the story was written but I hated how the author tried to make Gio seem badass but really made him seem weak instead.
What an amazing and wild ride of emotions we are on with the conclusion of Giovanni and Amelia’s story. You will be sucked in and not able to stop reading until the end and after that you will be left wanting more. Will Gio be able to find Amelia and convince her to come back to him, letting her decide what’s best for her and him not telling her? Gio has realized that love conquers all and he will do whatever he has to do to get her back even if it means letting her go. These two have been through so much and it’s time for them to get their happy ending, let's hope it’s enough for Amelia.
The final book in the Twisted Trilogy did not disappoint 😍
We kick off where the last book left, Amelia is in the clutches of her evil grandmother and Gio is well and truly losing his shit 😈
The angst and suspense had me gripped to the edge of my seat to find out what was going to happen!
I love how Skye's series all tie in together and that we get to see some of our beloved characters! The bond Maya and Amelia has formed is every girl's dream in a BFF!
It was a beautiful ending to a beautiful trilogy and I can't wait for the next characters books 😍
What a conclusion to Giovanni and Amelia's story. The title did not make sense to me at first, but after reading Twisted Bond there is a really good reason for the title. I guess I lack the imagination to guess what was going to happen in this book because I was glued to my seat the entire time to find out what would happen. This book has so much drama and steamy situations that I could not stop reading until the book was done. I cannot wait for Giovanni's brother, Marcello to have his chance at happily ever after.
I loved this book from the first page. It starts where the second leaves off. I am sad that it is the end for Giovanni and Amelia but it was a great conclusion. I really liked Georgie and hope she gets her own story as well. This book had a lot of action in it and a lot of emotions throughout. It was very intense and happy with sad intermingled. I did feel some of the ending parts were rushed but it was a fantastic book that you don't want to miss. You definitely need to start with the first book and read these in order or you will be lost.
This was a lovely conclusion to Amelia and Giovanni’s love story. The scenes in the sanatorium were realistic and yet at the end it was heartwarming. I loved Georgie’s character she was so much fun and it was so interesting to find out about her father. There were so many great characters in this story along with those we have seen before and all of whom were part of this story as well. Marcello and Janey are an intriguing couple and it will be interesting to see where that goes. There are some suspenseful scenes and some difficult conversations but the ending makes up for it all.
In this book I wanted to find out more about Daisy whether she got in trouble or tried anything with Gio, but that is still a mystery. I just love details but the book was amazing. To understand some of the characters better you should read the Bratva Blood Series. This book gave me chills and goosebumps but it also had me crying. Such a great love story. All the books I have read by this author have been incredible.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Twisted Bond is the third book in the Twisted Saga series and is the continuation in the story of Amelia and Giovanni. This book starts where Savage Legacy ended and concludes the series. I have enjoyed the previous books and did this one also. The ending was good but it did not quite blow me away the way I had anticipated it would based on everything these two have gone through together and apart. But was still and enjoyable final book.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
