Might be a helpful book if you know nothing about social media platforms? It felt super elementary to me and isn’t for someone who already has basic understanding of branding/social media.

"How To Set-Up Your Personal Brand For Under $1000" by Dan Fleyshman falls short of delivering its promised value. While the book aims to provide insights into establishing a personal brand on a budget, it ultimately leaves much to be desired.

One of the notable drawbacks of this book is the lack of concrete examples on how to effectively utilize a budget of $1000 or less. While Fleyshman briefly mentions the possibility of low-cost events, he fails to provide realistic and actionable scenarios that align with the budget constraint. This leaves readers wondering about the practical implementation of the strategies he discusses.

The book also acknowledges the rapid pace of change in the world of social media, rendering some of the information potentially outdated. The fact that some content is under two years old but still might not be relevant highlights the challenge of offering evergreen advice in this dynamic field.

Fleyshman's book contains some good ideas and valuable information, but much of it can be found online. Unfortunately, the lack of specific and applicable examples, combined with the potential for outdated content, diminishes the overall value of the book.

In conclusion, "How To Set-Up Your Personal Brand For Under $1000" offers readers some insights and information, but it falls short of its intended purpose. The absence of practical examples for the “under 1k” amount and the possibility of outdated advice make it difficult for this book to stand out in an age where information is easily accessible online.

Will update when I apply these principles.

Fleyshman is legit.

Tell your story, start small and work your way up. It doesn’t take a lot of money just hard work and opportunity. You may have heard that before but this is the actual guide.
