When I came home is an MMM Romance.
Triggers are in the front of When I Came Home. They are C-PTSD, depression, and scenes of autistic meltdowns. Each character is helped through their episodes with the help of a lover or friend.
Frances Regan is a new pen name for F.R. D'Angelo. They are NB, and pronouns are They/Them/Their/We.
"It didn't feel like I was my authentic self, using a pen name. It wasn't working out mentally for me. So, I went back to my own given name."
Frances Regan fully enjoys writing for their characters; they are the men that make us laugh, make them cringe, they are utterly shameless. Making them draw stick men, then telling them to check with their editor to see if their positions will work. (Shakes head)
In a world where some things are black and white, why should love not be in colour?
this was really good... curious and kept me guessing.. it was fun and sexy... made me happy and smile and the writing was amazing. plus lots of action and emotions. loved it
I enjoyed this trio even if I did find the wording to be a little dramatic sometimes. The story can be a bit confusing but I felt this one wasn’t as confusing as the first book. This is a bit of insta-love but I really enjoy that. There was still some angst between the main characters but not much. Problems were overcome quickly. This is a HFN because the story builds each book. I’m not sure if we will see a new couple each book or if it will circle back around. I think I would like to see this throuple again. I feel like there is plenty more that could be done between them.
An emotional rollercoaster installed. The year is 2073 and life as we know it doesn't exist.. Indi's story begins as their military team find a bomb and only 7 survive of their 18 men. Fast Forward 10 years.... Indi 38 years was far away from the military as he could get as a cowboy trying to sell his stallion horse. Dr Jase 34 yrs inquired about the horse to sire his mare. He and Leo where horse breeding specialists and madly admired Indi's horses.. A good first meeting with Indi, Jase then Leo. Hidden love and fast attraction for all 3 from the start. Oh god one minute having tears and laughing with Leo. This is an adorable story with a lot of emotions included. If you love love-at-first-sight you'll love this book. A HFN as this book and its characters continue on their journey of healing and love. Recommended to be read in order of series to understand the characters. Book one is “After We Came Home.” • arm & leg amputee • PTSD with two therapy dogs. • autistic characters • love-at-first-sight romance.
This was even better the first story!! Indy, Jase and Leo had an immediate attraction!! I loved the story line with an autistic character, therapy dogs and dual amputee. Such a good story!! I am voluntarily leaving a review form an advanced copy that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
When I Came Home is Book 2 in the Solar Flash series. I enjoyed this book a bit more than the first one. The idea is fascinating with wonderful world building. Indi, Jase, and Leo are wonderful characters with an instant connection. They really seem to work well as a threesome and help each other overcome obstacles. I look forward to seeing what's next in this world.
Better than the first book! Writing was much smoother and cohesive. Here we have an insta-love between three individuals. Indi is the survivor of the IED and we get to learn a little bit more behind the cover up.
love the 2nd book in this series. we get to see 3 different personally come together so beautiful. the support and love they have for each other build there bond stronger
