My group has reviewed around 5 books of Prachi Garg collectively. And she is on our list of top ten inspirational authors list. "The Legend of a Start-up Guy" was Prachi's and probably among Indian authors' first attempt at mythology-based startup fiction. In that book, she wrote a fictional story around Ganesha's attempts to establish himself as an entrepreneur. Her next book was based on the story of Ramayana-based characters. Prachi is back with her next book and that too sequel of "The Legend of a Start-up Guy".
I think I have discussed enough previous works of Prachi, let's talk about the main book for which I am writing this review. "Ganesha's Global Startup"
In the first part, we read that how after mountainous efforts Ganesha got successful in establishing his startup and make it a steady business. He also received good recognition and an award for the same. But as we see in real life, you need even greater efforts to survive and to expand your new startup. This book is more focused on those points. Through this part, Ganesha's story passes through phases like handling funding entities, expansion strategies, sustainable business models, etc. Read the book to know more.
My observations about the book
1. Easy language for any age group
2. Familiarity with Indian Mythology characters' names. Added benefits if you have read the prequel
3. Fast paced storyline
4. Self-help bundled with fiction
5. All basic startup-level learnings were covered in the last part. This book is more about the next level of startups
I will give 3.5 out of 5 to this book.

Ganesha, a foodie at heart, thriving to make his business a mega hit and to survive the odds of entrepreneurial journey. He knows the competitive world of entrepreneurship. This book charts his journey from a startup to an established food chain with takeaways in the end.
Ganesha's Global Startup is a fictional story with anecdotes of real life entrepreneurship. This book talks about a fictional character Ganesha an elite entrepreneur and his business Sweet Post and how he face challenges when when he wishes to expand his business and grow.
The story may sound very typical but it has a tangy touch to, a sweet surprise. The entire 'cast of characters' is named after Indian mythological characters like Ganesha, Shiv, Parvati and many more. The use of mythology in the backlight and combining it with a contemporary story is quite commendable. Though the entire story is constructed by mythological characters there are seldom mention of any mythological event and the book is purely written for business purpose and lessons for entrepreneurs keeping in mind newbies.
One thing I very much liked about this book is the transparency. The lessons author is trying to convey with the story is very transparent and apprent with the takeaways given after each chapter. There are some significant takeaways to ponder upon. Due to the simple and good writing style this book is much easier to understand and can be motivating for a layman.
Despite all this I don't think this book is adequate enough to provide some insights for new and small businesses. It's more focused on growing an already established business. Though this book can be inspiring for some.

Book Name- Ganesha’s Global Startup
Author- Prachi Garg
Review- This book is a blend of both fictional as well as self help which is what i perceived. Each one of us has a dream inside which keeps us going but the journey is full of thorns. Our protagonist has tasted failures and unacceptance in most part of his life and when his hard work actually paid off it was really tough to absorb the scent of reality. Not giving up was his basic mantra to reach where he always wanted to. The books starts on a moment full of glee and many a times in life when we achieve something we raise the bar and we ourselves need to raise our attempts even more. Same was with Ganesha, his business was giving him back all what he and his team invested in it. Making his business global was a next level of challenge since he had to make the most of his peak stage. The book has a blend of emotions and realism where we experience such moments which were a mere dream at some point in our life. Every day is a new challenge and every new challenge demands a new version of us. This novel has a lot in store for minds with dreams to learn how to cope up with situations and make the most of it. It has positive vibes and some lessons to be learnt in the form of a story which makes it an interesting read.

The cover page of the book implies the concept of the book. This book efficiently provides guidelines for entertainers. I assume that the business aspects rather than the storylines. less story stuffed with extraordinary and exaggerated business tactics and aspects. The plot effectively supports the inkling of the author's entrepreneurial aspects.
This book is about the story of Ganesha who is an aspiring entrepreneur. He had started a sweet post. The author has poured all entrepreneur tricks and tactics from the mouth of the supportive characters in this novel. How to cope with entrepreneurship is the major theme of this book.
I thought the author might have been better to produce this book as a self-help book rather than a novel.
I recommend this book to all aspiring entrepreneurs

The title itself telling that what this book all about. Yes Bussiness Startups/ Entrepreneurship.
And the cover is apt too! I actually took up this project just because of the fact only that It's about Bizzz. And tbh my expectations from this book was way high.
SYNOPSIS : The story is about Ganesha who has a food bussiness named Sweet post. And the books tells about his whole Entrepreneural journey & the challenges he faced.
I personally loved Ganesha's character. He is passionate, driven & ambitious. He possesses the qualities of a true leader.
Also I loved the chemistry between Ganesha & Riddhi because this is the kind of relationship that I want to have. Where the two of the people inspire each other to accomplish more than ever!
The book is full of Insights on which you would definitely ponder over If you're into bussiness & Enterpreship. The writing style is lucid yet gripping.
Even If you're a beginner in reading business books, you would easily understand this.
And I would suggest you to go for this.
Some of the things that I didn't feel comfortable reading is that Ganesha used to address their parents by their name all time in the book and I found this really annoying.
The other thing that I think could be better is the naming of characters. All the characters are named as a Hindu God/Godess so again it didn't feel good. Are they are doing bussiness?
The context page should be there in the book but it's not. It was also one of the thing that I found annoying.
Other than these I found this book really helpful learnt a lot about the Marketing , Launching , Hiring team & moderating a bussiness.
There's a ' TAKEAWAYS ' section after each chapter and I just loved this part. If I ever want to read this book again I can just go this section and can revive the lessons.
Would recommend to all those who are willing to start their bussineses ( specially product based ) Go pick this up. A lot of value is waiting for you!

‘Ganeshas global startup’ by Prachi Garg is a feel-good positive book for entrepreneurs and startup aspirants. The idea of modernizing the Hindu Gods to come up with an inspiring tale is just ‘wow’.
Ganesha is not a mighty naughty God here. Ganesha, the protagonist, is a failed startup owner. Failure is not the correct term; let me replace it with an experienced startup owner. After gaining insights from a startup that didn’t go in the right direction up to his expectations, Ganesha dares to initiate his entrepreneurial venture out of food love. ‘Sweet Post’ hits the market right and, through the tale, inspires all startup aspirants.
I loved the way all mythological characters are well developed. The language is flowy, evenly paced, and engaging. I appreciate the way the author gave takeaways at the end of each chapter.

Ganesha's Global Startup by Prachi Garg Book Review: Enterprise is the basis of a nation building and I have gathered this knowledge after reading many books on successful entrepreneurship and if you want to be an entrepreneur then you have be really intelligent, patient, calm, careful and acceptable and have to make and jump on to decision making with utmost clarity where you are a good listener. Startups require a lot of planning for it's creation and it's base has to be strong otherwise you will end up losing literally everything. Cut your coat according to your cloth, as the saying goes is the most inapt explanation to venture on a startup according to your expertise. How much your plate can hold and your stomach can eat and digest them, only that much precision you need to have to be an entrepreneur, definitely not more that you cannot handle and obviously not less. You have to have obvious prospects of people's choices, selections, objectives, motives and interest and also the latest trends that people follow, approach or are suitable and choosable from them to afford and approach must be your subject matter of the startup and accordingly go forward with the theme. Have you ever invested on a startup thinking that people will highly accept it as it is an out of the box idea but then miserably failed to establish it and it never went on the run, keeping you stranded with huge losses? Well, if this so, then it is high time you read this book. Of course, to avoid falling miserably under the above mentioned problem, you need to accept a lot of people's suggestions keeping your you know all attitude aside, be in good terms with them because their warnings are for your good. This story is about Ganesha, a foodie who without paying any heed to his mother Parvati and father Shiva 's words, goes on to create an space reality tourism program and miserably fails in it. From there, he changes his route to start his own sweetmeats business, the startup named Sweet Post who let's him bag the 'entrepreneur of the year' award as he had in time listened to the foodie at his heart. But as soon as this achievement comes, he has an urge to expand his business and from there starts another different journey of Ganesha and the author has described this course thoroughly that how Ganesha's Sweet Post startup became Global. From there, while describing Ganesha's meticulous plans to expand his business, the author at the end of each chapter has given certain takeaways from her own perspectives. The later enough of the expanding sweet post business journey of Ganesha started with his searching of various customers and going to various geographical locations to set up his shop. This journey included suggestions from Narada, a man who travelled the whole galaxy, Gaja and Vinayaka along with insights from his mother Parvati on how to be the best man in his business. At this point, Ganesha meets his neighbour Riddhi and starts to feel something deep, intense and intimate for her. From here on, she became his best friend to give him mental support to expand his business. The next came his planning to handle production cost, prices, creations and setting other nitty gritty' s for his sweets. And here, Lakshmi comes to give him suggestions of wealth and how to understand customers. Lakshmi, from here also remains his forever mentor when for the next step of finding investors and creating a core member group for his startup, Lakshmi suggests Ganesha, how to tactfully crack a deal with Kuber to be his partner and investor, tying up business with him in such a clever, knowledgeable and positive way so that it becomes a boon for sweet post. Her educative approach, leads Ganesha to win the trust of a successful business mind such as Kuber, who only aimed to his steady goal of achievement. In between this, Ganesha and his teammates goes to Global conferences and a problem ensues up questioning the freshness of their product from local businesses and their men, hinting questionable glances to Ganesha's unique approach of humidification to create and preserve his sweetmeats. And here, his father Shiva, once his biggest critique, comes to help him with the advice that only to concentrate on his work, go and focus on higher margins of online sales and everything will work out eventually for him. From here, his father became of his best and most trusted advisor. The next step for Ganesha was to create a stable economic margin for his product to meet up certain costs and also be customer friendly and here came Vyasya, the CFO of his Sweet Post startup who changed Ganesha's perspectives of approaching certain important things for the benefit of his company and business. Parvati, too saved some assests for his dear son. As the plot progresses, Ganesha marries Riddhi and in their respective roles, Saraswati, Brahma and Vishu too are introduced. In the later stages, Ganesha becomes so successful that he helps with Asura's falling business and becomes the toughest competitor for Indra in the business world who was nothing but so off. His customers became his biggest treasure. After all this explanations, have you now caught the metaphor here? Yes, you are absolutely right at guessing that all the characters in this book including our protagonist Ganesha are non other than our most revered Gods from the celestial realm into a modern setup of earth 's technology and business. The setting is such that sometimes one will awe at the author's imagination of fitting the characters of God's into the unimaginable task of creating, managing and maintaining startups. I had a good time reading this book and sometimes felt that all the Gods together are in a journey to help Ganesha create an heaven out of a world.

🙂 The cover of the book is nicely designed with a beautiful shaded colour. It defined the struggle of a entrepreneur in a single frame.
🙂 The writing style of the book is simple but completely described the struggle of an entrepreneur. The way author put forward everything in this book it just made you feel the charm of having your own business.
🙂 The language of the book is easily understandable with some gripping plotline. It just blended with the storyline to enhance its beauty.
🙂 But one thing I found less relatable is in terms of characterization. The names given to the characters based on Indian mythology doesn't make any great sense for me. But all the characters wonderfully portrayed with equal importance that just make the book complete.
🙂 The real struggle, dedication, effort, focus needed to set up a successful business is nicely described in the book.
🙂 The narration of the book is good with step to step guide to establish own business

💹 Have you read any books on startups? All of us, at some point or the other would have wanted to create our own business and maybe monetize it. I've always wanted to own a book cafe replete with my favourites, conduct book releases, author meet-ups and so on!
--
💹 This books narrates the entrepreneurial journey of Ganesha and his dream #startup Sweet Post'. He's a typical foodie at heart and wanted to make it big in the food industry. Slowly, he envisions his plans and his dreams begin to materialize. But with success comes additional responsibilities and stress and Ganesha seems to be over-consumed with both. How he begins from zero to win the Entrepreneur of the Year award forms the crux.
--
💹 Ganesha has an excellent team, where everyone pitches in their ideas, gives their suggestions and make their voices heard. As a leader, Ganesha's struggles, mistakes, wins and losses are worth his every effort. It gives us valuable lessons, ideas and strategies as to how to establish a business, fund it and prosper in the corporate world! Every chapter is a mini story with informative lessons, new perspectives and dos and don'ts for a successful start-up. "Accomplishments of an enterprise will come things have been well-planned and actions have been sincere, there is hardly any doubt in that." - Prachi Garg
- During this pandemic, many of us have thought of or have switched to starting our own business. But what does it truly take to become successful? This book is an attempt to give readers an idea of how to do so. It is a non-fiction book that can serve as a guide for many. Through a journey of an entrepreneur, the author has brought forth various important aspects to starting one's own business.
- Ganesha is a foodie at heart and soon starts his food delivery business along with a small team. However, it doesn't prove to be a direct road to success for him. He tries to expand his business but faces many obstacles. Through his struggles, failures, challenges, and eventual success, the author has explained the importance of leadership, the right strategies, and tackling obstacles without losing hope.
- The characters' names are based on Hindu deities like Shiva, Ganesha, Nandi, etc, to which I personally feel that there was no need for, as these characters do not represent anything symbolically to the Hindu deities. It feels like this was more of a book promotion stunt by the author. These holy names should be used wisely and accordingly which the author has clearly failed at. You wouldn't come across a book where Jesus is starting his own business. Immense respect should be given to the Sanatan dharma and it saddens me that the author hasn't done so and has instead used the names for a non-fiction book.
- Apart from this, the book lacks a content page and as an avid reader, this can prove to be a bit annoying. The chapters are titled well, accompanied by a little section of 'takeaways' (points to note) at the end of every chapter. A good read for those looking to start their own business.

Ganesha's Global startup by author Prachi Garg is a story for all the enterpreneurs and the one who aspire to be an enterpreneur in life. The main protagonist of the story is Ganesha, a foodie by heart and had faced a failed startup in his life. He owns a startup called sweet post and he wants to make it global. The story portrays all ups and downs of the entrepreneurial journey with multiple aspects of it. From getting an investors, beating the odds out of the competitors, facing the challenging market and complications of getting it to the global level everything is well explained in this book in the form of enterpreneurial journey of Ganesha. Each chapter gives a learning or takeaway at its end. In his team, there are many people such as Nandi, Gaja, Narada, Saraswati, Lakshmi, Suraj etc that gives it a mythological touch to the story. Even there is a girl named Siddhi, whom Ganesha loves and she lives next to his house. The story's mythological touch and the journey and problems in life of Ganesha make it more interesting for the readers. Moreover the book gives much more management and entrepreneur tactics to the readers that is the best part of it.
The cover of the book is cool and the title is very intriguing. Book is a short read and the language used is quite simple and easy to understand. The characters portrayed are more into the story and serves their role perfectly. For a few it may look a slow read but Author has really done a great job by writing such a wonderful book.

💻 A foodie at heart, Ganesha always looked for ways to make life worth living. In his entrepreneurial journey so far, he had seen it all – starting from a failed start-up to bagging the ‘entrepreneur of the year’ Award. With the achievement came the urge to expand the business with series-b funding and beyond. Ganesha's global start-up is a gripping tale of an entrepreneur's challenges when he wishes to expand and ways in which he beats all odds.
💻 If you are interested in start ups or would like to learn more about it, i would suggest you to check this out. Kudos to author for weaving a story and non making it a complete non fiction. Characters and thier traits are inspired from Hindu mythology.
💻 Takeaways along the book helps you ti understand a key point in a chapter. Even though it has good insights, I DNFed many times. It took me some pushes to complete the read. Uts quite slow paced too.
💻 If you are fiction lover and hoping to learn about startups/business, you can give it a try. Riddhi's character had been an added bonus. Through this book you can learn the downfalls, success and valuable lessons in a start up.

The book is a short but engaging read that talks about an entrepreneur’s journey. The ideas are taken and narrated in such a manner that they are easy to grasp and understand. Prachi’s idea to use mythological references to give examples is an excellent way of helping people connect with the idea she is putting across. One thing that stands out is the fact that she shows both, the positive as well as negative side, of being an entrepreneur. We see Ganesha enjoying success as well as learning from his failures. The idea to condense the learnings from the chapter into a summary in the end helps the reader grasp and connect with the core idea in detail. The language Prachi has used is simple and easy to understand, making sure that the focus of the reader is on the core ideas, rather than making sense of the language. I loved the way she closed the story which showed the human side of an entrepreneur.
The characters chosen for the fable are drawn from Indian mythology, and thus connecting to them was quite easy. Prachi has used the common associations with the names expertly into the plot, making them a part of a corporate structure. The characters have very human characters, and that is one takeaway for me that regardless of who you are, the human factor is quite critical in every scenario.
Overall, a wonderful book which I would recommend to all, irrespective of you being a part of a startup ecosystem or not as it gives some valuable lessons for life.

Ganesha's Gloabal Startup by Prachi Garg is a blend of Indian mythology and entrepreneurship together to create a fun and helpful guide for new entrepreneurs. Author has taken our favourite stories and characters from the Indian mythology and turn it into a saga of entrepreneurs journey.
Ganesh is a foodie at heart and with the vast knowledge of food, he tries to start a new brand 'Sweet Post' in the Food Sector. This is not his first venture into entrepreneurship but first successful one. What he did and did not to repeat the same mistake and make Sweet Post an International brand.
The book is divided into small chapters and each chapter tackle a problem one faces in their journey to became a successful entrepreneurs via a story. At the end of each chapter, there is a summary of learning from the chapter. I really enjoyed the concept of creating an universe as entrepreneurship and how different planets and cosmos are different ventures. Some successfully exhibiting the signs of life and thriving and some not so much.
The language is pretty lucid and beginners friendly. The narration, plot was on point and author did managed to captured the focus via her witty and fun storyline. The concept was new and fresh and author has done justice to it too. This is first read of the author and I am highly impressed with the author's writing style. Definitely looking forward to check more of her work and explore more about entrepreneurship.

Review💫
Ganesha's Global startup is a good guide for newbie entrepreneurs who wanted to lead their journey in the right direction and with decent tricks.
This book is one of those astounding titles which has such a significant amount to provide for its readers. This is a mix of the anecdotal plot with a non-anecdotal subject, an exceptional blend that is uncommon. This book plans to edify the reader of various viewpoints on a grounded undertaking/fire up.The book talks about several ups and downs people have to face in the starting phase of their career. The book throws light on different challenges, competitions, downfalls one have to go through while starting out. Also the book somewhere teaches the readers to keep up with the fall and never give up on their hopes.
The book's language is very easy to comprehend.
Each chapter is followed by a takeaway section, which is extremely useful because it provides a quick overview of what the author is attempting to say in the chapter.I found the takeaway section to be very useful because the points are presented clearly.
Overall, I would surely recommend this book to all those who are looking forward to start a business of their own and don’t know from where to begin.

In the current times everyone talks about setting up the business but the main challenge arises once your business become stagnant and you aren't able to grow it further and this book provides some solutions regarding the same.
The book revolves around the protagonist Ganesha who has seen it all from being a failed guy whom no one gave any chance to a successful entrepreneur . But now he is finding his business kind of saturated and has a serious urge to expand it further . The remaining tale forms the crux of how he does it
The characters are strangely named after our Sanatan Dharma Gods and Goddess for no apparent reason and one thing which seriously offended me is author terming them as mythology in the book as well as in the blurb. They are the part of our culture ,our religion ,our identity stems from them so calling them Myth-Logical characters is seriously in a bad taste. Guess ,Hindu culture has become an easy prey these days due to their over tolerant nature . I wonder if someone call other religions as Mythological too for whom there is no proof too. Besides this, book is nice for the people who have an established business but offers little for the newbies who want to establish one.
All in all an okayish one time read ,but expected way more.

Ganesha's Global STARTUP by Prachi Garg got me excited from the word go. This is primarily because I looked forward to learn strategies, techniques, methodologies recommended to build and sustain a Startup. At the receiving end, not only did I learn and understand what I desired but so much more.
The story is narrated in a conversational tone, incorporating rather creatively several characters and divine forms we all know through Indian Mythology and ancient scripts. This is a wonderful twist to sharing the information because it keeps the reader so involved. Further, since we respect our own scripts so much, the relevance and intensity of communication through the characters makes an effortless, profound impact.
The book is highly recommended for all ages. In fact the challenges, words of wisdom, comprehension of problems, smart moves, innovative solutions et all taught through the book will not only assist a person with entrepreneurial spirit but anyone looking for professional development and personal growth.
While I completed the book successfully, I already went back to previous takeaway points twice in less than few days.
The book is definitely a must-read content.

Prachi Garg is always well-known for her books on business and entrepreneur. I read her earlier books which are based on business. Her book, 'Startup Secretes From The Ramayana', described Ramayana from a business point of view. It was a unique version of Ramayana. As I love her new out-of-the-box concepts, so I picked this book up out of curiosity.
In this book, Ganesha is shown as an entrepreneur. He started his own business which is "Sweet Post, delivering sweetness online." His journey as a businessman, his team, growth of a business, profit and loss, reaching the globe, etc. are all discussed from the point of view of Ganesha. There is also mention of Ganesha's love interest with Siddhi.
Language is simple and business-oriented. Book cover is average but the title is catchy. In each chapter, the author has pointed out a few important things as Takeaways.

Story starts with Ganesha being awarded for his startup Sweet Tooth
after all his hardships and a previous failed startup.
But what about the journey??
Although the genre is non-fiction the author has weaved a story to make it more interesting and to interpret the steps of the entrepreneur's journey.
The book gives insights on every hardships, denials, management, team work, how to use resources , quality assurance and geographical circumstances to your ultimate use.

The chapters of the book are very short and at the end of the chapters there's a takeaway where it's sum up and you can go back anytime for a fresh look at the chapters. There are case study's which are taken from mythology explaining how the creators of the universe run the galaxy keeping in reference the idea of a startup.
The writing of the book is very lucid and the story is from the POV of Ganesha taking the reader with him on the journey.
If you wanna have a headstart and insights to your entrepreneurship with practical solutions this book is really a get go. But also keep a lot of research
on-hand.
