This book is written from the POV of Jennifer and Koz. As always with me, it took a while before I remembered who everyone was and what the relationships were, but that's absolutely normal for me; details tend to escape me after a while, and it's been a while since I read the last one in this series. I wish recaps were more normal!

I'm not 100% sure if this is the last in the series; this could be an ending, and Camille has started another series, but there's also plenty of room to continue the series if she wants to. Either way, I liked seeing where the surviving characters got to.

This is a zombie story, so there is a lot of gore, killing, suicide and cursing. It's an adult read, I would say, or an older teenager.

If this is an ending, it's a great one, and if there's more to come, I can't wait to read it!

Sentients, book 4 of the Zommunist Invasion series turned out to be like its predecessors, unputdownable! At the end of Scattered, book 3, I was left in a funk – somewhere between angry and sad. Sentient went a long way in taking that demeanor to a much different level. Since I chose not to provide spoilers, you will need to read this series to understand this emotional rollercoaster. I can honestly say I enjoyed Sentients the most in this series, it has brought many things full circle and should there be future episodes I’m in for more adventurers with the Snipers. I received an advance reader copy from the author and chose to provide this review.

Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

If you have never read one of Camille Picots books, this is the series to start with. Follow along as a group of high school kids along with Nonna, fight tooth and nail and nail to take back their Country from Super Zombies with smarts. Reviews are tough when the book was so great but you don't want to give out any spoilers. Just trust me when I say this Zommunist series is action packed. And when you are finished with this series check out her Undead Ultra. Another winning series.

Great series

The story of Leo, Cassie, Jennifer and the rest of the Snipers moves forward, sadly, without Cassie. The story about teens learning how to shoot accurately (with no previous experience) takes a suspension of reality (but heck, it's a story, so it's an easy jump). With a new edition coming out (but not until fall of 2022) they at least didn't end in a cliffhanger, but still left me interested.

This is a great fourth part to this exciting zombie end of the world series set in the 1980's! A really great idea, brilliant selection of characters & a great storyline that grabs you from the first page & keeps you riveted until the last! Excellent read! I do recommend all of this writers work! You will not be disappointed!

Love Picott’s zombies

So many wonderful characters, some so badly broken by their own lives. Evil tries darn hard to finish the job. And the battles? Wow! I was so tired at the end as battle followed after trap after incursion. There were moments when I laughed and more moments when I cried. At the end I did both.

Great series

This is such a great series . The characters are interesting and you find yourself really rooting for them, hoping they all survive. The story line is fast and action packed taking you on a roller coaster ride that you don't want to get off . I'm really looking forward to the next book. Definitely recommend this series.

Another excellent, well-written book. Up late again reading this as I couldn't put it down. Sad without one of the main characters but life goes on. I hope book 5 is soon out. Thanks.
