The title of the book impresses me to read this book. I didn't think this title carry such a precious value of life and its chaos. All the poetry in this book makes me feel myself.

"Life is often a chaos and not fair,
But you must learn to sail through all its layers".
The author embarks on these poems to give inspiration to the readers.
In the first title, LIFE HURTS
The author grabs the attention of the reader towards her. The darkness of life suits all. These poems fill the reader with the grief of life.
Following that in the second title, LIFE HEALS the author calming the grief through her powerful Magic words. It refreshes the reader's mind and inspires them to move on.
With the refreshing note in the last title, LIFE GIVES the author advises to be patient. The peach of our life is in eternity. All the scares and pain will vanish in eternity. Eternity has the healing power.

I like all the aspects of the author in this poem. Really, the power of her words muffled me with grief, heals and inspires me accordingly gives me cope. The rhythm of the poems consoles you.

I recommend this book to all

One and a Half Moon by Ishita Banik
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5/5

It's a beautiful collection of poetries written and portrayed in three different heads.

ʟɪꜰᴇ ʜᴜʀᴛ

It was the first title the author discussed in her poetry. Every short poems under Life Hurt were so relatable and a sad truth of reality, which all of us could connect and resonate with. The darkness mentioned here felt like it was saying about me and was meant for me. Like the author penned, Being empty felt so good. My favourite in this was,

ᴡʜᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴅᴀʀᴋɴᴇꜱꜱ,
ᴡᴀꜱ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴏᴡɴ ꜱʜᴀᴅᴏᴡ ᴛᴏ ɢᴜɪᴅᴇ ʏᴏᴜ

ʟɪꜰᴇ ʜᴇᴀʟꜱ

All the poems under Life Heals was extremely calming, refreshing, and inspiring. I loved the thought author portrayed here, 'being me is the biggest blessing', Indeed it is. My most favorite poem in this was with no doubt

ɪ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ᴡʀɪᴛɪɴɢ.
ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜꜱᴇ, ɪᴛ’ꜱ ᴀ ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛɪꜰᴜʟ
ᴡᴀʏ ᴛᴏ ʟɪᴠᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ʜᴇᴀʟ
ꜱᴇᴠᴇʀᴀʟ ʟɪᴠᴇꜱ
ɪɴ ᴀ ꜱɪɴɢʟᴇ ʟɪꜰᴇᴛɪᴍᴇ.

ʟɪꜰᴇ ɢɪᴠᴇꜱ

The poems here teaches us to be patient. The author mentioned, 'found peace when stopped searching for eternity', and it's true, cause Life Gives us hope, and solace if we stop certain things.

To sum up, I really Loved how the three different parts of the poem were interconnected with each other. First the author shares her pain, misery, and personifies darkness and other topics, later it's portrayed in a healing manner, and lastly, all the universe and darkness is showed in a inspiring and positive way.

Definitely an amazing collection of poetries which every single person should read✨

BOOK NAME: ONE AND A HALF MOON
AUTHOR NAME: ISHITA BANIK
RATING: 5/5

She began with how life give torment in a manner we never expected and appear through her words the way of mending and enter all through her rhym how life gives magnificent things when we are prepared to take it. On various occasions I expected she has created the sentiments which I expected to recognized at this point had never recognized. She has superbly composed the journey of getting harmed, how recovering get in and the way where life finds it's appreciation to bloom again.

Life is loaded with issues yet life itself gives you arrangements and as time passes by it additionally mends you.If you are into sonnets and need to understand a few, this can be a decent book for you as it's anything but a decent measure of idealism in it and may demonstrate out to be an aide for some issues you might be confronting. with feelings we frequently manage. The book is partitioned into Three sections and the focal subject is life and the feelings inside. The creator discusses how life harms , mends and gives and is really an exemplification of the way that It is the thing that life is. I absolutely worship the composing style and the selection of words. The language is really clear and something that will keep you rational till the end.

This book has such a ton of reverence to give and is blooming with such an overabundance of assumption that even the hardest of hearts would love this !

It's a beautiful collection of poems written under three chapters. Almost like phases we go through. A process if you will.

ʟɪꜰᴇ ʜᴜʀᴛ

It was the first title the author started her poetry. All the poems were relatable and portrayed a sad truth immersed in reality. The factor of resonance was the highest here and I can say every reader could connect to it. The poetry almost felt addressed to the reader as a letter or confessional note.

ʟɪꜰᴇ ʜᴇᴀʟꜱ

All the poems under Life Heals was a ray of sunshine after the storm of hurts. Instilling all positive feelings in her poetry and prose almost, it felt like a journey from chaos to calm waters. The confidence and self-awareness shown in these set of poems was inspiring and gave me a great delight to read through.

ʟɪꜰᴇ ɢɪᴠᴇꜱ

The set of poetry here is the gift of healing and working on yourself. It’s the hope after a long storm in search of peace. It’s the promise of a better tomorrow and the good that on can see and receive. It’s the end of a journey one has walked and worked through.

To sum it up, the journey from pain to happiness and content, portrayed in the poetry almost like a letter to me was a beauty to read. The sharing of all her feelings in such crisp words with layer of meaning to interrupt was a delight and I am glad I got the chance to read it. The negative and the positive coming together to make such a piece of literature is the best result and maybe the Life does give back.

This short poetry collection that can be read both slowly and quickly according to your mood and where you are in life at present is such a relief after being reading chunks of texts in the name of novels and short stories.

I am not a great lover of poetry collections as I think it’s for the high-brows, crazy people and intellectuals. And I don’t fall into any of this category currently, so I was avoiding it for a quite a long period until I decided to read it yesterday.

These collections of poems are divided into three parts: “Life Hurts”, “Life Heals”, and “Life Gives”. Each part talks about how we perceive life when something inevitable happens and how we respond to it.

The author is in full form as each and every (short and crisp) line hits you with a bang either motivating you or questioning your choices, so that in the future you may correct it to tackle those untoward situations.

However, Ms Banik uses nature has an important tool to deliver her point—of how life can be a combination both light and dark—in most of her poems. It becomes quite repetitive over time, but you will never lose interest to turn the page.

Overall, it is a good and a complete poetry collection that tells the life’s philosophy unabashedly and will steer you towards a positive path with an energized zeal to move on with your life, whatever hindrances you come across in your way to success. And I thoroughly enjoyed with lots of takeaways in store for the readers.

𝓓𝓪𝓻𝓴𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼 𝓼𝓱𝓸𝔀𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾
𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓵𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽𝓼 𝓬𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓭 𝓷𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮.

One and a Half Moon is the way that will show you the journey from life-giving then hurting then heals afterward. This book will let fall into the world of words that will reveal itself that how can just a few words can express their emotions.

(𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌) This book has 157 pages in which every single page is filled with poems. This book does contain 3 chapters (Life hurts, Life heals and Life gives). Every poem is emotionally written. It will let you feel the author's emotions easily because the choices of words are quite elegant.

𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘:- Poetry books are the easiest way to understand the ways, emotions, pain, happiness. Poems hold the power to put feelings into words. In this book, the way of life is explained in such a way that we can find the hidden ways that life gives love to us too, it may give us pain sometimes, but at the same time, Life finds a way to heal us too.

Every poem has its own pain, emotions, words that are anesthetic in their own way. My most favorite poem was
𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆
𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒇𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒅,
𝑰 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒂 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔,
𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅.

The language was easy to understand even a beginner reader can easily understand. The font used was big and simple. The narration was quite good.

I would definitely recommend this

This book is an example of why poetry needs to be kept alive. How beautifully the author has written out stories in a poetic form. Divided into 3 chapters, it sets a wave for the reader to be carried away through words. Life hurts, Life heals and Life gives. It's exactly how an idle read should be, engulfing us in melancholy and distress in the beginning and radiating hope as you strive forward. That leaves a positive and optimistic mark on the reader.

Life will have you encumbered with it's stress, grief, closed opportunities and failures but the same life will be the stairs to help you climb up again and higher this time, higher than you have ever before been. It's a voyage of realising your inner self, through both the dark and light. There's this one verse that has occupied a little corner in my heart,
"Your fingers slipped from mine like a fistful of sand"
This is exactly how to invoke some deep emotion in your reader's mind.
This is really the most beautiful book I have read this year. If I had a type, this book would be my type.
Too much appreciation for the author, stay blessed :)

One and a Half Moon
Author : Ishita Banik

This book has 157 pages in which each and every page is loaded with poems. This book contains 3 parts Life harms, Life heals and Life gives. One and a Half Moon is the way that will show you the excursion from nurturing then harming then mends a while later.

Each poem is sincerely composed. It will allow you to feel the creator's feelings effectively on the grounds that the selections of words are very rich. These poems show changed feelings and it's anything but's an excursion of investigation towards self-acknowledgment and self-revelation.

Life is stacked with issues yet life itself gives you courses of action and as time elapses by it moreover retouches you. In the event that you are into works and need to comprehend a couple, this can be a respectable book for you as it's anything but's a fair proportion of optimism in it and may show out to be an assistant for certain issues you may be facing. with sentiments, we often oversee.

The book is short yet I will suggest going delayed with the sonnets and assimilate the energies.

Overall, Beautiful Read

Do you read and understand the depth of the poems????

Recently I found my refuge in poetic books. I love the depth they touch. This one lived upto my expectation. The book is a collection of poems which talk about life, about how it hurts and heal.

The book is short but I will recommend to go slow with the poems and absorb the vibes. I will end by quoting my favourite lines from the book -

“I am not afraid
of the nightmares,
but the dreams,
which can never
be real.”
