Such a great coming of age story, not just for the main character but also for his alien friend. I devoured this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down until that last sentence had been read. Loved the world created and the culture of the Stiks, especially with the contrast of human behaviour and greed. The language Hill used compliments the narrative and makes it effortless to immerse into the story. I do wish it was longer but that's purely because I wanted more of the world and characters.
