Wolf and special agent Kristen Luke will be pushed to their furthest limits yet to find answers. But the killer isn't waiting around for them to figure it out. He has more work to do, more payments that require his signature.

Jeff Carson is from the Front Range of Colorado where he lives with his wife and two sons. His David Wolf series of books takes place in the fictional ski town of Rocky Points, Colorado.
If I could I would give these David Wolf now novels more than 5 stars. They are perfect products; interesting, comforting, engaging, entertaining and just plain fun. These books are all set in a lovely part of America and the author makes the reader go there with him. I love the way several subplots weave in and around the main story. The characters are richly drawn and their interrelationships enhance the action rather than slowing it. Poor Wolf gets injured so much one wonders why he is not crippled. Fortunately this seems to be the only place a reader is forced to suspend their disbelief. All these novels are great stand alone thrillers, but it has been fun to watch the characterizations develop and situations in individual lives change. Fantastic reading experience. Why are these novels not a miniseries or chain of movies? I'm thinking Carl Urban as Wolf. Read them all, you won't regret it.
This has been an incredible thriller series, and I can't wait for more. With fantastic characters, humor, drama, angst, mystery, suspense, lots of action, and unexpected twists and turns, it'll have you hooked right from the start. I highly recommend that you read the entire series from the beginning. Each story can be read as a stand alone, but you'll get a better understanding of the characters, the connections, backgrounds, and the dynamics of the stories by reading all of them. They're all absolutely fantastic stories, and you certainly won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
This series is excellent. These are well-thought-out fully developed books. I find many of the books on kindle unlimited to be very cursory. I do read a lot of them, but this series should be read. Some books you read you to fill time, and others you read for enjoyment. This series gets better as you go on. The characters are fully developed. There’s good storylines. The action is reasonable and not absurd. There’s a little bit of emotional stuff! I love them, and will keep reading them. The main character is an interesting man. Not completely by the book. You can’t help it work for him and his courts. Enjoy it
I love the suspense that builds up with each book. I am kept on the edge of my seat reading this series. I just love the description of the settings that Jeff Carson gives to his readers. I can almost see the flora and fauna of Colorado even though I've never been there. The mountains and terrain sound wonderful. Yes, I am now reading the 11-13 books. I will read to the end of the series. I love to binge read books that keep the same characters so I can watch them grow. Thank you Jeff Carson for keeping me busy these long summer days.
I think that says it all, but since I have to write more: I have to say I never saw this one coming!!!!!!!😲 A strange beginning, some really horrible men bent on revenge, a long hidden secret... and that's just a small taste of this smorgasbord!!!😃 Suffice it to say that this is an edge of your seat adventure!!! So hang on for a ride you will never forget!!!! 😉
I felt like I was actually in this story! I could imagine myself walking these streets and saying hi to all of the characters . Never ending action and mystery. Trying to figure out the plot which I usually can but couldn't at all. Makes you want to keep reading and reading. Couldn't put this down. If you love mystery novels in out of the way little towns and wilderness, this series is for you.
His books are thoroughly entertaining. Makes you want to stay up all night reading, night after night. You never figure out the plot ahead of time. Great subject matter, amazing story teller. These books could be a weekly TV series! Thank You Jeff, keep up the good work!
Being an avid reader for more than 60 years, I often now find it hard to find something I truly like. I like these characters, I like the complexity of the story and the writing makes me see the story unfold, not just read it. Definitely worth the read - only problem is the books are so short.
What a ride, what a reading marathon. It didn’t disappoint, couldn’t put it down. Wolf, Patterson and Rachette, they go through some pain, tested, but you still can’t leave them, to your finished. Once you start with David Wolf, you have to read all 17 instalments!
I have considered B.J. Bourg's series the best I have read, until starting the David Wolf series. Now I have to say that the Jeff Carson "David Wolf" series is equally excellent. Having read all but #29 of the Bourg series, and now ready to start #11 of the Carson/Wolf series, I can honestly say they're best I've read!
Jeff Carson know how to keep the potboiler rolling. His characters are well developed; his plots are dense with very dangerous circumstances. I rip right through his books and have never been disappointed.
I chose this rating because enjoyed story line. I like the way everyone works together as friends, etc . Need to get job done and put aside personal feeling to achieve goal. I will definitely recommend to Family and friends.
I like the way he took periods of the past and put them together so that this story could come out with so much clarity. And I suspected the bark as in the beginning... TeeHee
Patterson has left the detective squad, become a private investigator, but when a photo of her old partner is sent to her cell phone she back at the center trying to find him ! Who has kidnapped him? Why? Will they be able to find him before it’s too late?
I enjoy these books and this is my tenth reading, It has been interesting to figure out the murder and why it happened. Maybe Dave will have years of joy since he is a married man. Looking forward to my next mystery.
I cant find anything wrong with these books. They keep me turning the pages as fast as possible. I live in the mountains and can relate to the terrain. Good reads!
Very few times in life do you read a whole series of books without one boring page. This series keeps you turning page after page. The only drawback.....one day you reach the end...you miss the friends you made in the pages. But you know you'll never forget them.
David Wolf is the man! You won't be able not to root for him. There is never a dull moment in his life and his adventures/mishaps will keep you entertained and ready for the next story as soon as you finish the one you are on.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the David Wolf boxed series. This was my favorite by far. Great action and good twists and turns as wells good character development. The ending on this one was the very best :-)

These Mystery stories ar no B.C.e great. Easy reading. Can't wait to start the next series. They may be fiction, but there sure is a lot of reality to them all well.
Great series continues with non stop action and mystery. The change in location was done with finess, save for some impossible timelines. This is a fun read for all action seeking readers.
There storyline is great, keeps you turning the pages. I just would like to see that the women in the series being bolder. I would recommend this author.
