Four or five out of ten.
There's no groundbreaking material in this book. Some of the sketches are painfully short (perhaps intended for a younger audience?), and Martin's perspective is more than a little parochial. But it's an easy read, and Martin has a comfortable story-telling aura that reminds me of my grandfather (they are acquainted). The pencil sketches of the subjects are a nice touch too, I suppose.
