When It's Time to Say Goodbye

"When It's Time To Say Good-Bye," is a beautiful story of life, love, sacrifice, the will to survive, the reluctance of letting go, and finally, the defeat of the beast we all know as death. Tote engages her readers from cover to cover as she takes them through the heartfelt and familiar journey of family, the deepest of all relationships, and the cycle of life; as she stresses how not to take even one second for granted, as life itself is so very precious and also so very temporary. She shares intimate thoughts, moments, laughter, and tears as she confides in her readers, and her readers become her dearest friends and confidants throughout this most warm and sincere passage. She connects to her audience with feelings of unforgettable touching moments we can all relate to. Whether or not you have ever lost someone to death-this is a must-read, page-turning, life-changing legend.

Having had an experience of losing a close loved one, and I didn't get to say good-bye, and feeling so bad that I didn't, this book really gave me insight on the subject of death and dying, and saying or not saying, the final farewell. I made it through most of the book without having to use the Kleenex tissue, until I got to Chapter 23, and then, I felt tears rolling down my checks, and though I kept on reading, from then on, I think I cried every time Marti cried. All in all, I learned a lot from this book, and I thank Marti Tote for writing it. I highly recommend this book!

I love the way the author talks to you as though you are right there with her. As Marti learns some very hard life lessons you will laugh and cry along with her. You learn that today is the right time to tell that loved one just how you feel, not to waste one pecious moment that life has to offer, and you learn to how to let go and not be afraid when it's your turn to loose someone you love. The Editor was spot on when she said this was a life changing read. I can't wait to see what she writes next.

This was written by a very very close friend of mine. It's the story of her Dad and the lessons learned on the road leading to his death. I've been hearing about this book for so long I'm anxious to finally read it. She just got some advance copies today and I was one of the recipients of the book. I'll let you all know what I thought when I'm done.

Wow!

This book is "anybody" who has ever lost a parent.
Every thought that was written, every emotion this author spoke, as the pages turned; is exactly how each of us felt upon losing their parent.
I enjoyed this book. Remember to always tell your family and friends "I love you".
