'The Lone and Level Sands' is a beautiful narrative that gives the reader an essence of classical mythology and contemporary sentiment. The hero's journey is not only adventurous, but philosophical as well. If you like multidimensional narratives, give this one a go. Nice job, Grey!
4.5 stars. I had a good time reading this book, the themes I was able to pick up in this Mesopotamian inspired fantasy were accepting death, the flow of life and the ties that bind us to each other.
