Animal Spaceship to Mars

Rate this book
IN SPACE WE ARE ALL EQUALS. This illustrated space adventure for young children contains global messages of racial unity, love and respect for all beings. As such, it is a powerful teaching tool to facilitate an understanding of tolerance, diversity and Unconditional Love.

Animal Spaceship to Mars is written and drawn from the perspective of a little child. The story races along in the same way that a child's mind does when being creative, with colorful illustrations that invite a child’s creativity.

The book helps children to explore the Universe; from rhinoceros, butterflies, and dolphins; to rainbows, roses and Extra Terrestrials (and their dogs!) And when they meet on Mars, they realize with delight, they all aliens!

To be enjoyed by children ages 1 to 9!

David is the author/illustrator of Animal Spaceship to Mars, a space adventure picture book for little children. He was having a meditation/nap with his two year old one day, when the idea came to him. Though he never considered himself a whiz at drawing (he studied acting not visual arts) he felt inspired to go for it anyway! Using the medium of crayon and some splashes of watercolor, he says the boy took him on an adventure.

David is the proud father of two toddlers. The hero of Animal Spaceship to Mars borrows his likeness from David's little boy Joseph.

David is also the author of The Esoteric Path of Marriage, a relationship book for people on a path of self-realization, which he wrote with his wife, Maha Brown.

He had a radical 'shift' in 2007 when he had a full- blown Kundalini Awakening, which changed his life and perspective forever.

Over the last decade David has spent much of his time in India, which he considers his spiritual home.

I loved this book! My 7-year daughter loves animals, STEM, and this book. It’s an easy read and the illustrations are a lot of fun. Three things stood out to me: the diversity of the characters, the notion that there may be differences—aliens and, well human aliens—but we all yearn for similar comforts, and the notion to save the animals (even if it means taking them to space). I highly recommend this book as a bed time story, but I also plan to buy it so my wife can use it in her first grade (gifted) classroom.

I was inspired to make this book for my little children. It is drawn from the perspective of a little child and told from the child's POV. The lead character's likeness is that of my own son. My little children love this book and delight as each new character enters the ship for their space adventure. My children say "Come, come, come!" as each one enters the rocket. They are 2 and 3 years old but I have been told children up to age nine have enjoyed this space adventure.

Beautiful pictures. Simple and easy to read. Animal Spaceship To Mars is a story book that engages a child's imagination, giving him or her the opportunity to have a paradigm shift as to what a galactic interconnection and community could be. A very good book for children with active imaginations. 😀👍

Wonderfully written

What a great book for little ones. I’ve read through a couple times, and each time there’s something new. A Nephew, niece, and a couple friends recently had babies, and I would definitely be recommending this book.
