This was a very good, concise overview of the DeFi landscape. I’ve become interested in the space recently but was a bit confused by all the different terms and exchanges, so this was very helpful in that regard. I feel like I have a better understanding of DeFi and since it is still in its infancy, am curious to see how the space evolves. It has the potential to really shake up how money is lent, borrowed, and invested. 4.5/5 stars.
I’m not entirely sure if I would recommend the book at a place to begin if you’re looking to seriously invest. However, when entering into a new domain, I prefer viewing the domain’s landscape, taking notes of the general features and making notes where to dive into later—either for clarification or for more technical review. For this latter reason, I would recommend this book. A good, concise overview of much of the crypto/defi landscape.
Related to DeFi, theres A lot to come on the upcoming years and this books serves as the building block of this new way of doing business. Also, it serves as an invitation to continue learning on all these matters.
