Quote: “Brava to Dawn Reno Langley on YOU ARE DIVINE — an elegant guide for nurturing the goddess spirit within. Brave, inspiring and ever so wise.”
I thought this book was pretty well-written and uplifting, especially for anyone who looks or identifies as feminine in a world that has suppressed women for a long time. It's pretty simple to read, but I appreciate all the research and emotion that Dawn Reno Langley has put into her book, inspiring anyone regardless of gender to get in touch with their inner divine feminine. It's a book about connecting to one's internal spirituality, and I appreciate that. Also, her writing style is pretty captivating and it was easy to blow through this book. She does have some good writing prompts and practices as well.
My only complaint is that despite her very open mind and willingness to learn, the author does view things in a rather binary way of feminine versus masculine. Pretty much all of her powerful women examples (and I do admire most of those whom she chose so I am not complaining about them) were cisgender women and I would like to have seen more queer or non-binary representation.
