These passionate poems about the Holocaust will cut to your heart. Poignant images that evoke genocide, prejudice, hatred and injustice connect the reader to the messages. The author was born in the Displaced Persons camp of Bergen-Belsen in Germany and is the son of two survivors of Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen. He is Associate Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the World Jewish Congress and also teaches about genocide at the law schools of Cornell and Columbia Universities. This is a powerful collection.

Beautiful, astounding poetry evoking everpresent grief and loss. The poetry has universal appeal in these days of continued war, hatred, and racism. A must read for sensitive, caring individuals who appreciate poetry. The style is accessible, and the content is comprehensible.
