Southern Ballz
TRIGGERS POSSIBLE: If you have military based PTSD there may be a scene that could trigger you or make you feel uncomfortable. Maybe you'd just relate. The adult situations are unprotected and uncensored as with most most of my work. I like to push the envelope. Spice level: 4 peppers. The language is unfiltered and realistic. Blitz is very possessive/territorial and protective. He's alpha to the bone and he's also broken and vulnerable.
It all started when the RBMC wanted to get their hands on Brooklyn. It was a good move for the founding member of my club, the Malevolent MC, but someone needed to take the reins with our chapter there—someone they could trust—someone –Malevolent. The old man wanted one of my guys to patch over to and made the deal to trade me to the RBMC. The one condition was that I step in as president of the new RBMC Brooklyn chapter. Easy, right? I’m a guy from another club. A “southern belle” they say. Redhook expected me to step right in and take the most coveted of the five boroughs. It meant Crucifix would have to share, and believe me, he wasn’t so thrilled with the idea.
Now, it’s almost Thanksgiving and I’m in New York City fixin' to spend the holidays alone with my ghosts. The guys are ball breakers, the chicks too, but after all my time in Iraq and Afghanistan on the USMC elite Force Recon and Scout Sniper teams, I’m always down for one of those. They aren’t countin’ on my southern ballz. The real test of my abilities will be her. Vixen is like no one I’ve ever known and could be the best or absolute worst part of my new life as a Ba$tard.
I haven't had a woman share my bed in over three years to keep them safe. Vixen is the only one I've wanted to keep there, and I'm terrified my ghosts and demons could harm her. I chose to fight in the war. She's only choosing to try to be with me.

I love BDSM (Male dominant/female submissive.) There's something that just feels so right about a man wearing the pants (especially when he wears them well and fills them nicely.) I am interested in the psychological aspects of relationships in general and especially when there is a power-exchange dynamic.
My world would stopping revolving if not for heavy rock music (and the wonderfully talented people who make it.) Music and it's makers will definitely be strongly visible in my work. I listen, I remember...I listen, I'm inspired...to write...to love...to f**k...to live.

"Will I be her best friend or worst nightmare?"
I don't usually read many MC books, but each time B.b. Blaque graces us with a new story, I am totally thrilled. Set within the intricate world of clubs the author created, Blitz and Vixen story transported me into a gritty and raw atmosphere. This page-turner is filled with action and heart-wrenching moments. Mrs Blaque amazingly captured her hero's PTSD.
"You, sir, have survivor’s guilt.”
From the beginning I felt for Blitz, and as the story unfold I fell for this strong and ruthless man. Struggling with his issues he also proved to be resilient and fierce. When he met his Vixen, his world went upside down. The communication is not always easy with the talented nice and caring (with an incredibly short fuse) singer. She lighted his protective instincts and woke up the stalker in him.
"That same part wanted her submission and seemed skilled at prying it out."
Southern Ballz kept me on the edge of my seat all along. It is a challenging read, and I loved every word of it. It pushed my limits, always with a precise justesse of the emotions.
"Deflect. Repress. Success."
Lovers of intense characters and scorching hot reads will have a great time turning the pages, and (listening to Vixen's music!).
Southern Ballz is part of the Royal Bastards series but can be read as a standalone.

Wow. Just wow. You expect dark and gritty from this author. You can also expect characters that deviate from the norm. This book explores PTSD from the sufferers point of view. It's not clinical, it's realism is unsurpassed. And it's exactly what you want in a love story for the one person who can bring him out of the flashback to be her. Off the charts, hands down, one of the best books in the RBMC world.

I really like the RBMC world, we get all kinds of stories in a shared world, with some crossovers and all kinds of fun stuff.
We are in NYC for this one, in Brooklyn to be exact. We are with Blitz, who is a vet from GA. He is the acting prez for RBMC Brooklyn. He's trying to help the chapter move from being part of the Malevolent MC to being part of the RBMC, and it's not an easy changeover. He's got all kinds of stress from his members, since he's a stranger to them, as well as the larger NY RBMC chapter. But there is one bright point in his life, Ronnie at the VFW.
Ronnie at the VFW has a thing for Blitz, and she's going to make him notice her. Her band, which she fronts as Vixen, is about to perform at his open house, and she'll make him notice her there.
Blitz and Vixen together are explosive. The chemistry attraction between them is really palpable. I wouldn't want to try to get in between them.
Blitz's PTSD is another character in this book, and I think that the author handles it really well.

Off the Charts
As always this chapter of RBMC is the best. Love Blitz and Vixen. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat needing to turn the next page. The writing and flow of this book is top notch. I beyond recommend this book.

Now this is one Fun, Action Packed, Suspenseful MC read. I have to admit this chapter of the RBMC series is one of my favorites. And BB didn’t disappoint with Blitz’s story. He’s a former Marine with “special training” and a southern boy through and through. When he got out of the Marines he was lost with no purpose or will to live. He blamed himself for a mission that went terribly wrong. But as luck would have it, he found a home with the Malevolent MC. Fast forward a couple years and he’s asked by his Prez to patch over to the Brooklyn Chapter of the RBMC and become the new Prez. But those Yankee guys didn’t really know what to make of Blitz, his southern ways and his troubles with PTSD. So he decided to take things by the Ballz and show them what was what. The only thing he didn’t count on was the sexy bartender at the local VFW.
This is a great read. My heart hurt for both Blitz and Vixen as their past traumas came to light and all they go through alone and apart in order to survive. But the author’s handling of their story is so well written that I simply can’t recommend it enough. You’ll laugh, cry and smile throughout.

Not my favorite
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This story is part of the multi author Royal Bastards MC series and book 3 from this author.
Triggers:
alot of talk about PTSD, described suicide attempt, brief mention of a past sexual assault, violence
Spoilers:
Blitz, has struggled since getting out of the Marines. His former war buddy sent him to the Malevolent MC as a way to give him focus/purpose/routine. Things went on and Blitz was sent to patch into the RBMC.
Ronnie/Vixen, nice girl working at the VFW. she likes Blitz. Shows up at the MC as a singer in a band, shocking Blitz with her "different" side.
Blitz does alot of inner monologue. As Ronnie, I liked her character. As Vixen, she is a drama queen. They do engage in alot of s3xy time. There is some brief trouble with a rival MC.
I really enjoyed the first two books the author wrote for the RBMC series. This one just didn't work for me.

B.B. just knows how to write an awesome book!! B.B.'s writing style is down and dirty and very gritty. She don't pull no punches. She gives it to you straight with a shot of moonshine. I love how she writes a book. You don't get hearts and rainbows with her. But you don't want that either. Blitz and Vixen make a great couple. Luckily for Blitz, Vixen had dealt with plenty of demons that she totally recognized that Blitz was definitely fighting with his demons. She got to see them first hand and that didn't scare her away. That's when he realized that she was his other half. I love how B.B. deals with real issues like PTSD and other traumas. It is definitely real. We also have to get the word out that that 22 a day is real too. We need to stop it. Veterans are suffering all over this country.

HOT, INTENSE, SEXY
Southern Ballz is a bit different from the other books written by this author but every bit as hot, gritty and sexy. The H in this book suffers from PTSD and the author and her storyline handles this very sensitive subject extremely well. Blitz's story just crushed my heart! All that he endured during his time in Afghanistan followed him home and peace was no where to be found for him. Thanks to Bishop, Blitz found some place to fit and a whole lot more, all in NYC. The ride's not easy for Blitz. He has a lot to overcome, not only with his PTSD, but within the club itself. He has to prove himself of course. You can't just drag your southern a*^ to NYC and expect to be accepted right away. But then the story gets all kinds of heated up when he meets Vixen. Vixen is the best thing to happen to him. She's tough as nails and knows exactly what he needs, when he needs it and don't mind one little bit..... Blitz and Vixen are hot as h*l^ together. I'm talking flaming, smoking, intense HOT, HOT, HOT. Their story flows seamlessly and is everything I've come to expect from this author.

Taking on the new role and new city and trying to get his club into shape while fighting is own demons and ptsd.
Ronnie a.k.a vixen was a friend at the vfw and the only person he really talk beside his new brothers. Little did he know she was a singer and that they had hire for a show.
She trying to break down his walls and he trying to keep her away afriad to let anyone in.

In the words of Vixen, “Blitz is just fire!” The man surely knows how to keep a girl thirsty and get her wild side out. He’s a man that’s confident on what he wants and fights his own demons to stay alive. Vixen is so sassy and stubborn to the point where she doesn’t even realize it, until it’s to late to see that Blitz can outrank her at being stubborn and getting what he wants from her. BB definitely slayed this dark and delicious read as I was addicted to the outcome of this couple’s complicated relationship and how much they healed each other.

This book broke my heart. Blitz is stuck back in the war and he doesn’t know how to stop this nightmare he calls life. When he meets Vixen, they hit it off he can talk to her and just be hisself. He has a few bad moments but she always stands by him. Excellent writing. Explosive storyline.

Two beautifully broken souls that are so full of grit and emotions. B.B. pours out the depth of her soul to bring Blitz and Vixen to light and it it feels like you are standing right next to them as their story unfolds, truly raw in the best possible way. Blitz is fighting his demons but rest assured Vixen can hold her own.
Loved how several of our favorite RB members make an appearance. The spice, whew, well let’s say grab your fav beverage and keep a fan close by to cool yourself off! Because Blitz will “own your breath”!!

Bless my heart but I was not prepared to fall this hard for Blitz! He is as Alpha hotness as they come, no ifs, ands or butts! Well maybe some butts. And Vixen, that womans gotta mouth on her that you could listen to all day but every now and then gotta kiss to shut 'er up and remind her whos who. Which Blitz does and my oh me oh my does he do it well! B.B never fails to make me fall hard and fast for all her characters! And let me just say Crucifix is still FINE!!!!!! This story just makes me need, not want, neeeeed more. Like all the more!

You know when you read a book and find the characters really likeable and love the book?
This book drew me in and was so true to real life that I had to stop and take a breather at one really powerful spot. Everything happening could have really been happening to someone I know. Written so well that I immersed myself in the the world of Blitz and loved every minute of it. From the very beginning you are taken on a journey of love, trust, danger and an MC that survives because of the family an MC creates.

Blitz has PTSD after his tours in Afghanistan, he finds a home in the RBMC, and Bishop offers him a place as Pres of the charter in NYC. When Blitz and Vixen meet is sparks flying, but things are smooth sailing within the club. Well written engaging emotionally charged desire filled action packed and club drama galore!

Southern Ballz is one of the best books, so far in the Royal Bastards series.
Blitz and Vixen are great characters, they are perfect together. Vixen knows exactly how to push all the right buttons to get to Blitz. The man is driven and knows what he wants, when he wants and he takes it. No questions asked.
B. B. Blaque is a stupendous writer! I have loved everything that she has written and I sit on pins and needles waiting for the next story.

Blitz and Vixen's story is a read that'll have your emotions flipping around. The chemistry that the H an h have is off the charts hot. There is a lot to digest as everything falls into place, piece by piece. It pulls you in, sinks its claws into you and doesn't let go till the very end. This is an amazing story. You'll definitely want to read because in my opinion it's that good. I loved reading this one and I didn't want to put it down till it was finished.

This book will grab you and keep you reading till you reach then end. It is a thrilling gritty read that moves along at a really awesome pace which is perfect for the flow of the story. The characters will grab you keeping you interested and by the end you cannot help but love them. This book needs to be read, there is totally no doubt about it. You will be in for a wild ride so add to your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did.

Blitz is still dealing with the after effects of serving in Afghanistan, his PTSD has kept him away from women for their protection. When he meets Vixen their chemistry is so hot. The pair are perfect for each other, but the path is never smooth.

I absolutely loved this book.
You are taken on one hell of a ride.
I expected a totally gritty and dark book
and got it.
Blitz is a retired Marine who suffers from PTSD.
The unit he was in also had Bishop and FOCUS.
He's also the new Pres of the Royal Bastards MC
chapter in New York.
Vixen is a bartender and in a band that
plays at a party at the club.
Vixen and Blitz have scorching and off the charts chemistry.
I would recommend this book to others.

I expected a totally gritty and dark book
and got it.
Blitz is a retired Marine who suffers from PTSD.
The unit he was in also had Bishop and FOCUS.
He's also the new Pres of the Royal Bastards MC
chapter in New York.
Vixen is a bartender and in a band that
plays at a party at the club.
Vixen and Blitz have scorching and off the charts chemistry.
I would recommend this book to others.

Wow mindblowing
Blitz and Vixen's story had my emotions all over the and and their chemistry is off the charts hot. When you add in the bdsm aspect holy smokes it like an inferno erupting. There is a lot to digest as everything falls into place, piece by piece and as they share their pasts it broke my heart. Their story pulls you and don't let you go till the very end. This is an amazing story. I loved reading their story, seeing familiar faces and I didn't want it to end.

I loved this book. He’s bruised and broken, but has this twisted charm you can’t help but fall for. Vixen equally damaged finally convinced him that he’s worth it.

WOW read! Loved it.
Blitz and Vixen were really made for eachother! He's the president of the RBMC Brooklyn chapter. She works at a VFW where they meet.
This is an intricately written tale that offers the readers strong characters, drama and a lot of hot love scenes.
I loved the characters that dropped from other RBMC chapters too.
At first I wasn't sure my head would be able to wrap itself around this story, but it sure as hell did!
I truly enjoyed this read 📚!

He has alot of trigger issues from PTSD and its understandable after everything he's been through. He doesn't trust himself 2 sleep with anyone or put up with anyone especially when he never knows when a trigger might happen. 1 crazy ass woman came into his life as a friend 2 get 2 know better but will he try and take a chance or say stay the he'll away from me 2 her? When assholes do the unthinkable shit hits the fan and he decides when and what paybacks happened and who will regret it.

OMG, Blitz and Vixen are perfect for each other. Blitz has ,I would say severe PTSD from his time in the military. He refused to get close to anyone for fear of what he might do during one of his episodes. Ronnie works at VFW as a bartender and lead singer in her band. They meet at VFW and get to talking. She doesn't say anything to him about her band. Moving forward she works it out for her band to play at his clubhouse. To find out how that worked out, you must read.

Whew what a read!!! Does it have triggers...yes. Does it have 🔥🔥🌶🌶🌶 sexy scene's absolutely. Blitz is a damaged but amazing man. Protects what he considers HIS. Vixen is a sweet n sassy woman who has her own issues. They are absolutely a perfect combination together. Do you need to read this...100% YES.

This book broke my heart. Blitz is stuck back in the war and he doesn’t know how to stop this nightmare he calls life. When he meets Vixen, they hit it off he can talk to her and just be hisself. He has a few bad moments but she always stands by him. Excellent writing. Explosive storyline.

Blitz is a former military guy with special skills. He found a home with the mc after he got out. He is now president of the NYC chapter of RBMC. He also has PTSD along with the stresses of keeping the mc together. Vixen is the kind of woman that can help Blitz. The two have chemistry that is off the charts. A good mc read.
