What is it about weddings that make everyone seem even more loved up? Is it love in the air, or just the amount of alcohol flowing? Whatever it is, it makes people crazy.
From an epic best man speech, to the steamy after party, where some of the guests get more than they bargained for.
Who will get what they want, and who will wake up hungover, full of regrets and hanging their heads in shame.
I guess that’s the funny thing about weddings. The bride and groom promise each other forever, and the guests are making the most of one night.
Maybe you can find your own forever at Isaak and Remme's wedding.
What can I say about this book well let me tell you I read this book in few hours!!!! I love how Isaak and Remme finally got their dream wedding... I have grown to love this too!!!! Yes when you plan a wedding something just don't go to plan but I laughter and I even had a rare here and there... I also was sad about a few thing and want answers but I'm sure I'll get them in the next few books!!! K.J. Ellis you done it again with another amazing book!!!!
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! I absolutely loved this book. This is Isaak and Remme's wedding story, and what a tale it is. The love these two share is paramount throughout their story. From their innermost thoughts leading up to their special day, to the endearing vows they chose to write themselves. Their story is sure to give you all the feels. There's a lot of fun to be had at a wedding. There are plenty of sexual innuendos as everyone is wondering who will relish in the magic of the evening. Who might wake up hungover? Who might do the walk of shame? It's all here in this fun, steamy romance you're sure to enjoy.
Thank you for sending us this book to read it's very much appreciated.
Well, what can I say, other than I really enjoyed reading this book. I read Isaak and enjoyed that book which is the first in the counterpunch series and this book follows from that with Remme and Isaak taking the next step in their relationship and tieing the knot and getting married.
This story touches on a few characters from Isaak book and sets them up for future books to come to each character as a great section.
Like I said above I really enjoyed this as it brought a conclusion to Isaak and Remme's story.
Ok so after reading and falling in love with Isaak and Remme in book 1 for this Counterpunch series you could only hope that KJ Ellis would go back and give us a little extra since none of us were ready to let go of this fab couple and this is it! The ultimate continuation of their journey in one small short fab novella! Told in various POVs I couldnt help but be drawn back into this world so easily and honestly loved every single word. So looking forward to reading lore books for this series with Owens story coming next!
I’m so glad this author decided to do this novella, I loved that the main characters (isaak and remme) got the wedding they both deserved, but I also loved that you got little snippets of the next characters stories in the series! I’m excited to read more from KJ!
The wedding was goals! I loved it, remme really landed on her feet with isaak giving her the world she so rightly deserved!
Oh my goodness. This book is HOTTT!! It's the wedding of Isaak and Remme and what a beautiful ceremony they have. It was emotional and pretty and so so perfect. And then we get to the reception. So much was happening during that party. It was so much fun to read! This novella is a perfect way to get to know all of the other characters featured in Isaak. It shows a deeper side of Owen and more of who everyone is. Plus we start to guess who ends up with who!!! Fantastic book, perfect once again!
Loved this book. Issak was such a great read that this was an automatic pick up. It takes us the journey of Isaak and Remmes wedding day and honeymoon. But the author was clever as we see bits from thier guests too. It fun its sexy and a fantabulous quick read. I recommend reading this after Issak but i guess it could be read as a standalone. Ant wait till the next book.
KJ Ellis did it again with her second book in the Counterpunch series!
After reading Isaak, book 1 in this series, I was excited to read about Isaak and Remme's wedding day. I loved getting to read their thoughts and feelings surrounding their big day, catching up on side characters, and meeting a few new ones too.
Weddings mean lots of tension, and all of it is welcome and needed. The world she has created is circled together in this novel, giving us a peak into each of the next books. It also gives us a chance for more of the Brooke's clan which I will never say no to. Now I just have to figure out what to do while I wait for book 2.
After finishing Isaak I needed more! I'm so happy to have read Mr and Mrs Brookes. I loved The wedding and getting to know all the characters more. This series has sucked me in and I don't ever want to come out!
Wowser, I thought the first book had heat, but this had more as well as a beautiful wedding and great side stories.
We was introduced to all characters more and was able to see events unfold from their perspective, which I loved and certainly need more from all characters.
This book will have you hooked and may get you hot under the collar in some places. I devoured this in one day.
Highly recommend this book and the series along with the amazing author. Can't wait for the next book.
I loved how the story is told from multiple POVs. You get to see the side of all this characters and it makes it all the more exciting for future books coming out.
I like this authors writing style. She is able to capture you with her words and the whole story just flows beautifully. Definitely a well written story and I’m eager to read more from her.
I absolutely loved this book with all the different POV! I loved Isaak and Remme wedding story and so glad K J Ellis wrote it. You have to read this before Owen which is the next in the story. I love reading everyone’s POV and getting a glimpse into the other characters lives.
After reading Isaak, the first book in the Counterpunch series, I really hoped the author would give Isaak and Remme their dream wedding. Was I ecstatic to find out that this novella was all about their wedding and what a wedding it was! Nothing ever goes as planned when it comes to weddings, and that’s what makes them so great. Isaak and Remme are so in love, nothing could ever ruin their day, it would be just as magical as these two characters are.
While this may be a novella, it sure packs a punch, no pun intended. New and old characters are sprinkled throughout and hopefully they will all get books of their own! I loved the insights and thoughts of Isaak and Remme as the countdown to wedding day began. You could just feel their love in your very heart and soul. This novella will make you a bit emotional and you may need a tissue or two, but I loved everything about it. What a delightful read!
Who doesn’t love a happily ever after? This is a fab look into the well deserved HEA of Isaak and Remme, with plenty of nuggets that will hopefully lead us into future stories for these fun and likable characters. It would benefit from a more thorough proofreading, but it’s still a delightful feel-good, make-you-smile story. A fun read from start to finish.
Not only do we get the wonderful wedding and honeymoon of Remme and Isaak, from both their POV which is amazing. We also get the POV of Devon, Charlotte, Owen, Saxon and Jason and to say it’s all going down is an understatement. And well Spencer’s sure got me intrigued now. I want more!!!!!.
This book gave me little details I was yearning for at the end of book one (Isaak) and now I can hardly contain myself to start reading the next book in this series! Excellent writing KJ Ellis!
What a beautiful addition to this series! Isaak and Remme are so in love and this book definitely gives all the emotions. I love that we get to know each of the characters more and there’s some ideas of who’s falling for who and what’s to come next.
I hoped to see what's next for Isaak and Remme and I loved it. I liked to have a sneak peak of the new characters in the series, and I'm looking forward to see what's next.
After reading Isaak, the first book in the Counterpunch series, I was happy to see this novella and getting to read more of Isaak and Remme. I was even more excited to see that this novella is their dream wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. The depth of their love for each other, the insights into them both throughout the story. I loved seeing all the supporting characters from Isaak again and meeting new ones. I'm looking forward to reading the stories of some of these characters.
The little insights we get into all the other couples, as well as the golden moments with Isaak and Remmie were amazing. I highly recommend diving into this before reading Owen. (That’s my next read!)
