A pandemic has left the world full of zombies. Three CIA operatives are caught in the middle of a city overrun with zombies and there is nowhere to hide. These are skilled assassins but with thousands of zombies all around, how many bullets will it take? WHAT WOULD YOUR FUTURE HOLD IN A POST-APOCALYPTIC WORLD FILLED WITH ZOMBIES

☆☆☆☆☆

Even in a world sent back to before electronics due to the virus let loose on the world, the worst of society find it only as a means to prey on those weaker than themselves. Thank God, they meet their match when Xander, Zahara, Ethan, and Reggie confront them.

The Wilder Side of Z by S.A. Ison is an action-packed thriller that will keep you in suspense from the first page to the last and once you're finished with this book you'll be jonesing for the next. Trust me. I couldn't get enough and moved from the first book in this series to the last and now, here I am just starting the first review when I have already finished the final fifth book.

S.A. Ison writes with a voice that will draw you into the story opening up your imagination and leaving you feeling as if you are part of the story. The characters are those of everyday people with everyday problems, hopes, and desires even though they hold a secret that they only up to this time with their own. Their CIA assassins, deadly vigilantes set to eliminate the worst of the worst our society has, oh, and their Werewolves.

If you enjoy a great action adventure with the heroes being both strong female and male characters who take out the trash with extreme prejudice and protect those who are unable to protect themselves from the blight of society this book is for you. Once you've read this first book in this series you'll be hooked and won't be able to stop until you've read the last.

I have truly enjoyed reading this book and hope you will find yourself enjoying it too.

Another good one

This author does love the unexplained and the supernatural. I like her unexpected time travel series. Her PAW fiction is fine. This mixture of zombies and weres was well done

The Tutti Fruity of classic horror monsters.

This is such a fun read. Not too long and action packed. We have three ex CIA agents (well they're "ex" 'cos a zombie apocalypse puts an end to their jobs), who just happen to be werewolves. Not just any werewolves; these ones can change just part of their bodies into wolfies, or their whole body, at any time of day. We follow our friends as society degrades and those humans remaining develop the usual habits we saw in the Covid epidemic. I laughed when I had the image in my mind of a werewolf exiting a deserted store holding massive armfuls of dunny paper. Hehehehe.

I have to say, I prefer a more original werewolf, who changes at the full moon to become a mindless beast, over which it's human counterpart has no control. I just put that prejudice aside for this book. Our hairy heroes congregate on a farm which becomes the Little House On The Prairie replete with crops, solar panels, guns, beans and the ultimate guard doggies.

While I enjoyed this, I took just one star off because I'm old school, and I don't like all these new-fangled werewolves (and werebears!).

I would buy 50 more books in this setting!

I love this world! The setting was unique and fun, the characters were interesting and likeable. I really really want this to be a series and I hope the author had plans for that.

Fantastic book! Don't miss out on this one!

A fun read

I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this book so much. Well written and interesting story. The characters were excellent and I was sad for the story to end.

A change from her back in time stories.

I enjoyed this story and could see some similarities to the Covid pandemic. It is always good to see the bad guys get what they deserve and the good guys helping others and making the best of a bad situation.

really enjoyed

This book at it all warm fuzzy feelings, terror always around the corner… A fresh new look and take I’m a zombie apocalypse… If they had a sequel I’d be snapping it up immediately, although I have four or five other books out of it lol
