Read the title. If it's something you want to learn about, read this book. I've been doing this for two decades now, and this is by far the best guide to negotiating tech contracts, with a heavy emphasis where it belongs -- cloud/SaaS contracts. David Tollen is an authority and a great resource. I was afraid that this book might be a bit outdated since things are evolving so rapidly in the SaaS universe. But it was surprisingly up to date and I think it will make a great reference book going forward for at least 90% of the issues discussed. Great stuff. Oh, important to note -- I assign this book for the class on licensing I teach at my alma mater law school. So what better endorsement than that! Only minor nit is that the formatting could be better, especially when it came to excerpts from actual clauses. It was a bit difficult to read and I think an improved format would help a lot. 9.5/10.
