Provides a good narrative of Tudor poor laws but seems narrow on illustrating cause and effect these poor laws had on the Monks, Rogues, Vagabonds and Sturdy Beggars.

This book was awful. It must have been the author's doctoral thesis. Boring, boring, boring...if it had been two pages longer I never would have finished it.
