Bloody Romans Vs. Sabines (Spartans siblings) - After three millennia, the first novel is out about the brutal past!
Want to know how the modern nations—America, England, venomous churches, and all of Rome's degenerate children—evolved? Grab your copy!!!
Set during the founding years of the Roman Empire, Zolia’s Revenge is the story of two virginal Sabine Ronica the Revolter and Zolia the Crusader. Told by the older sister, Ronica, it is a gut-wrenching depiction of the Rape of the Sabine Women, their degradation and torture at the hands of King Romulus and the Roman men, and their eventual heroic escape.
Marked by historical events that intermingle tragedy, love, romance, and unforgettable fantasy characters, this compelling story paves the way for Christianity in a world of non-believers.
“It is one of those rare books that stays with you much longer after you finish reading them. As I finished reading, I kept on looking for more. Thank you, author, for this masterpiece!” Dr. Eve A. Kheir.
"The story has many aspects and different storylines that come together as one very well. It has prophecies, witches, daughter of a Goddess, strong female characters, genuine love interests, fictitious creatures, devious sinners with malicious intent, and corrupt morals, making this story more exciting and a page-turner." "The awaiting author that every reader dreamed of, who is stuck among the stereotypes and routine stories!" Author Hiland Doolittle
The story has many aspects and different storylines that come together as one very well. It has prophecies, witches, daughter of a Goddess, strong female characters, genuine love interests, fictitious creatures, devious sinners with malicious intent, and corrupt morals, making this story more exciting and a page-turner. The book is fantastic, fast-paced, plot-driven, and adorned with beautiful illustrations.
Trigger Warning - It has violence, sex, obscene language, and depictions; that's why I recommend this book to only adult readers.
If Greek and Roman mythology has always intrigued you and you remember the names of all the gods and heroes like Andromeda, Zeus, Achilles, Aeneas, and Minerva by heart, then Joe Antony’s Seed of Fury: Zolia’s Revenge is the right pick for you.
What comes to mind when you think of the children of Gods, how would their life be? Lavish, happy, free from any sort of struggles, isn’t it? But even they couldn’t escape the barbarity of man. And that is the story of Zolia and Ronica, the daughters of goddess Minerva.
Set in the early days of the Roman Empire, under the rule of Romulus, the story follows two sisters who despite being extraordinary in their own ways and being God’s own daughters faced the atrocities of man which ran deeper than one can fathom.
The story might come off as disturbing at some points, however, it won’t disappoint in its endeavor to leave us spell-bound and pondering upon the inhumane behavior of humans based on authority, power, and dominance.
⭐ Rating: 4.5/5 ✅ Verdict: An impeccably written historical fiction that takes you on a trip to the brutal past.
I received this ARC thanks to the Publisher and NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.
Seed of Fury - Zolia's Revenge is a tale set during the early Roman Empire, where two sisters, Zolia and Ronica, daughters of the goddess Minerva, face the brutalities of mankind despite their divine lineage. Joe Antony masterfully intertwines mythology, tragedy, and the darker side of human nature in this fast-paced narrative.
Antony's exploration of the inhumanity driven by authority and power is thought-provoking, leaving me contemplating the depths to which humanity can sink. While the pacing has its moments, the book remains an engaging page-turner, propelled by the plot and characters.
With elements of Greek and Roman mythology, prophecies, and strong female characters, Seed of Fury - Zolia's Revenge delivers wonder.
If you have an interest in mythology and enjoy stories that challenge your perception of human nature, this novel will be a captivating read.
This book, Seed of Fury: Zolia's Revenge by Joe Antony Sebastin had kept me up till 4:00am for several nights. It was that spellbinding that it was impossible to put down. I absolutely loved how the author set the fictional story in the midst of actual historical events to protest against abuse and violence. I was enchanted by the characters Zolia and Ronica and was able to relate to their inner strengths and their courage to remain true to themselves and fight against all forces of evil despite the horrific abuse they have suffered throughout. I have experienced a whirlwind of emotions, and for the first time, I had actually reached the point of bursting into tears while reading. As I finished reading, I kept on looking for more. This book is a must read for adults. Thank you, author, for this masterpiece!
This was a great read! I loved the feminist characters and plot. The only section of the book I didn't care for, was the time they spent living with the wolf. This is a mythology story, so it's understandable to have an animal with humanistic characteristics. However, I felt that too much time was dedicated to this section, and it felt silly. Overall, I quite enjoyed it. I love roman historical fiction and mythology. The feminist angle used to tell the story of the Rape of the Sabine Women was well executed. I would recommend this book.
Anyone who wanted to explore Rome based fictional stories this should be in the top of the list. Its about two sisters fighting against Romulus and Roman abuser Proculus. So much diversity in the novel I wanted to read one more time. You wouldn’t find much information anywhere about Sabines culture whose women were the key to rise of Roman Empire, as it was destroyed by the Romans later. This book is a must read like any other classical literature.
Exceptional well written story about Romans and their foundation. You will love the sisters who are bold and amazing fighting against the Roman who kidnapped them. So much in the story and lots of violence in it. Some people may not like but it talks more about reality.
