Truly a stunning book of luminous watercolor paintings of landscapes and my favorite flowers!! I loved every section! Elizabeth Kincaid put some fantastic lessons and quotes in there too. Learned a lot was constantly amazed and in awe!! “Watercolor is magical.”

Thank you, to the author I will most definitely reread Paint Watercolors that Dance 💃 with Light ☀️!

Too many word errors

Content is great. It's hard to read in a lot of areas due to weird and bad word errors. "Be anise" shows up in place of "because". There are many instances where "font" is used instead of "from". There are capital letters in the middle of sentences for no reason.
This book is too good to have these amateur errors.

One great book!

Very easy to understand. I learned a lot. Highly recommend for anyone who loves watercolors and wants to improve with capturing light in their work.

Almost all of the paintings in this book are botanical in nature, and that is the focus of the text. There are illustrations of some of Kincaid's works that include insects, as well as cats, goats, horses, chickens and fish, but flowers are the stars. She is a very talented artist, and I greatly admire her work.

She offers helpful tips to bring light into your watercolor paintings as well as offering multiple tips for composition and the use of masking fluid.

Her suggestions and pointers for emphasizing light in your paintings are:
-Avoid using gray paint
-Strong contrasts in a painting will make the light more noticeable.
-How to make better paint color choices
-The importance of shadows.
