Our heroine craves attention, which makes it hard to believe her when she starts talking about a hidden assassin. But she is determined to stop him if only she could figure out how. Oh, and avoid becoming his next victim. There is that.

This is a novella length suspense story with a solid dose of humor. The story is well written and easy to read with a small but fun cast. It is a lot of fun watching our heroine try to figure out how to thwart the hitman. She is way out of her depth, but that is not going to stop her which makes for some very entertaining encounters. Overall, this story was a lot of fun and I definitely look forward to exploring more from this author.

Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this short story! Although Kim isn't the type of character I liked from the start, she certainly grew on me. She's a force to be reckoned with and thoroughly terrorized Vincent - at times, I even felt bad for him lol. Packed with humor, action, and well-fleshed-out characters. I enjoyed the hell out of it <3
