Good info for a kid's book--there weren't that many adult books on pond management in the library. However some info is contradictory to other info I found online ("A deep pond supports no more fish than a shallow pond" 29) so I think I have more research to do. I'm also not sure about the recommendation of being a minimum of 50 square feet in area-- if this is true, I will have to give up my pond dreams because there's no site in my yard that would fit all conditions necessary.
