Living in a lighthouse as a child led me early to a love of reading. Despite what you may have been told the life of a lighthouse keeper's son is not all Glamour and Parties. There's a lot of time when there really isn't much to do besides wonder if the fog horn has finally made you deaf or watch your dad pull fishing lures out of different parts of people's bodies. (You'd be amazed!)

Two of my favorite houses growing up!

description

I read. I read a lot. We had a 'reading caterpillar' around the room at my school where every time you read a book you put your name on your color paper and hung it up. The teacher had to give me two colors because it was looking more like a worm than a caterpillar. I devoured CS Lewis before moving on to Tolkien. Reading has continued to be a big part of my life. I've moved into Alternative Realities by guys like Stirling and my guilty pleasure is Zombie novels. I can't seem to get enough of them!

I like reading about the extremes people will go to to survive. The ones who can rise above the rest and keep their sense of right and wrong. When humanity crumbles around them these flawed heroes stand tall and try to make their way. They go from struggling to pay the phone bill to struggling to keep themselves and others alive. I like to see how this either hardens or breaks them. I think these stories speak at a very primal level. I enjoy the journey greatly as I get to tag along seeing how the survivors manage and how the experience forges them into something more than they were.

I look forward to sharing the journey with you all!

Sincerely,

R S Merritt

Great read !

Really enjoying this series . I like the characters and the story line is action packed and full of twists and turns, that will have you on the edge of your seat. Resulting in one more page till it's early hours of the morning . I would definitely recommend this whole series.

It was ok

Not as good as the first couple of books. I think the author is getting bored with the story and their is only so far a story can go. The unbelievable part is when they are taken to deal with the bad guys and are air dropped on the parking garage then Jeff is blamed for all the losses that occur.

Very entertaining

I love the way the author keeps the excitement going page after page. I don’t want to put it down until the end.
The group of unlikely warriors Drew, Jeff, Lisa, Yue keep fighting the good fight as best they can. Of course they run into the trouble when “normal humans” try to take them down. But they just keep pushing on.

REALLY starts getting good in this book!

In book 4, the author really started to hit his stride. In this one, he's mastered the series flow. This is lightning. You can't put it down. I was finishing the other books in average of 5 days.

This one was 2 days. Enjoy. It keeps getting better!

A fun book to read.

This book was just like the previous books in the series, fun and intense with lots of blood and gore and a little bit of comedy mixed in. I have really gotten into this series and I hope you do too.

Awaiting#6

I don't generally leave reviews very often but the Crawlerz series is great! I've read alot of zombie stories & a bunch of apocalypse stories too. Don't know exactly what it is, but these ones rock!
If there's any downside, in my opinion, it's spelling, punctuation, & misused words; but that's more a proofreading issue than anything. Nothing worth giving up the story for.
Can't wait for # 6!

Fast

This one is the best so far, fast paced and exciting. Characters doing things you never thought they would. I couldn't believe it when I finished it. I think the author wrote this one quickly and the editors maybe got to into the story as there are a few missing or replaced words from predictive text? But it didn't matter to me, still highly recommend you read these.

Road Well Navigated

I like this zombie series because it's the continuation to see how humanity survives in extreme environments. The pandemic mostly passed us by, yet the lingering fingers are still part of our daily life as we return to normalcy....whatever that means to us individually.
A road well travelled with people you can trust is the name of the game the brothers and sister have survived this long is amazing.

Now, time to saddle up and knuckle up because that road has potholes and danger no matter where the group goes....where to next?

20 STARS ⭐️ PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVER END THIS SERIES !!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVENT ENJOYED READING THIS MUCH IN A LOOOOOG TIME . Usually I take a break during continuing episodes but not this one.
I love the characters and the plot. I just don’t want to let go yet. If they can have the Friday the 13th movies up to part 427, surely you can squeeze out a few more Crawlerz after #7.

The Crawlerz series is riveting and keeps me coming back for more. The series has its low (slow) spots but overall it reads like an action packed film. There is almost always something happening all the time from close close calls to devastating defeats. A real page turner

LSD?

If you want to control the zombies. Put them in a cage, then turn them! Then to slow them down, give them LSD. What a concept! The author has some original ideas.

Meeting new villans!

Found it hard to believe that the bad guys would bend the knee after they kicked the heroes but. Good characters on both sides of the storyline.
