Rob Torres thought he had seen the dark side of life in sunny Miami through his job as a public defender, but when he takes on a notorious cartel boss as a new client one thing will become rapidly
He hasn’t seen anything yet, and nothing could have prepared him to be the personal lawyer to the most dangerous criminals in South Florida.
Enjoyed the storyline but I did get a bit tired of reading "the muscled man" or "the beautiful reporter" descriptors. I don't have an answer/alternative for this, but it did start to grate on me after a while. That aside, it was a good read and temporarily satisfied my immediate thirst for lawyer/dodgy client stories. Is this Book 1 of a series?? I'd better do my research! Ian. NZ
Great storyline about a young Cuban Attorney that stumbles upon a Cuban Criminal Enterprise run by a Cuban Godfather. The storyline takes place in Miami and the author makes you feel like you are living there.
This novel was well written with a lot of descriptive detail. The legal aspect of it was on-point. It could have used some more drama or violence to keep it going.
This was an enjoyable novel that was above average but didn't qualify for five stars. The plot drug at times and did not always keep the readers interest. The good features did out weigh the bad.
