Two souls ripped apart. Uncertain of how or when or if they'll find their way back to each other. Maybe it's for the best. After all, an angel has no business in the demon world. And a demon sure as hell has no business mingling with the angels. But how much fun would it be if everyone followed the rules?
I don’t know guys, I’m still struggling with how I feel about this series. Michael and Azazel have each taken their kids to different realms in order to split them up. Michael posits that the relationship between Virga and Tueur is the cause of the rips between the realms and the balance being off. But throughout the book we find duplicity, lies, betrayals and quite frankly, a very convoluted plot.
The world building is good - I mean the descriptions and such of each of the realms is pretty detailed. For me, it’s the character development and the plot that are tied up in a twisted ball of confusion. For example, Tueur is the hero of the series, yet he’s an unmitigated asshole in the first book and a lot of the second. By the time he’s “redeemed” I don’t really give a shit about him. Our heroine, Virga, is portrayed as a kick ass, strong character, yet every time they’re in a clutch, she freezes and can’t even seem to find her voice. Every. Fucking. Time. While she had some good scenes here and there, for the most part, I just couldn’t sympathize with her. I just couldn’t love her, and I found that I barely liked her. In the beginning, sure. But as time wore on, I liked her less and less.
I also think that the way the plot unfolded just made it very confusing for the reader. It was a lot of plot twists, sure. I just don’t think it was done as well as it could have been. Waiting until 85% of the way through the book . . . Just wasn’t my cup of tea. Sure, in a few of the foreshadowing moments, I could guess the plot twist to come
Anyway, it was an interesting storyline. I can’t heartily recommend it, but if you’re looking for a lot a twists and turns and are good at following meandering plots, you’ll like this series.
Both our Hero and heroine have equal share in helplessness and fear. It's the dynamic between them and others that made this trilogy work. They both had duties, both had issues and rather than fight against each other they worked together. Don't get me wrong, I felt like I hated this trilogy to start with, but I wanted to know what happens next. Despite some minor grammar and spelling issues it drew me in and took me for a wild ride. The authors of this trilogy should be proud. Generally I stop reading when I find something annoying or irksome, I also rarely get emotional over books and fictional characters, but this trilogy nearly got me to shed a tear, with the emotions storming inside me. Plus who doesn't love a happily ever after. Highly suggest whomever is reading this, to download the trilogy and have some tissues handy.
4 stars for Revenge of the Rejected by Savannah Rose and Amelia Gates. This is the 3rd and final book in the Virga’s doom series. I loved how everything came together and no questions were left unanswered. Tauer and Virga have finally came together and know who the enemy truly is. I could not put this book down. I needed the answers that this book would provide. I don’t want to say too much because I feel like it would ruin the ending for you. I have to say that while the first book started of kind of iffy , the series finished with a bang.
Wow! These books were incredible! I was addicted completely. So much has happened and it was paced extremely well! This last book was full of plot holes filling, secret truths exposed, harsh betrayal and the best of what love can offer! I loved the multiple POV’s…. I loved each character and now that I think about it, the foreshadow from previous bits of the stories all make sense now! Damn! Lol you will Love this book if you have read the previous 2. ENJOY!
Sooo I absolutely adored this series through its entirety! Though honestly I will admit parts definitely broke my heart in ways I wasn’t expecting. I loved the twists & turns & adventure that took place. This series truly was beautifully written & so very amazing. Thank you for an awesome read that kept me truly invested the whole way. I highly recommend reading the series & taking a chance on a wonderfully written & envisioned world.
I feel like I hit the jackpot with this story I kid you not….. I didn’t see this series taking a turn like this but child I’m truly happy that I found this series because it’s full of unique plot twists that’s been long overdue to the lupine community lol it’s so different…… thanks for sharing an amazing story ❤️
I had to read them right away. There's so much information and so much intrigue. Excellently written with great characters in an intense and amazing storyline. Not an easy read but so good. Plenty of intensity to keep you interested. I had a hard time putting them down
So many writers now try to make a series last 17 books and you start to resent it. This was a perfect trilogy. Still steam, lots of action and twists and turns, a few surprises. Very nice ending.
Wow. Just wow. The trilogy went from great to amazing. The kind of tale that will stick with me, echoing around in my head for days. The characters, the storyline, the exquisite wordcraft. A very satisfying read. I want more!
The summation of this series is filled with plot twists that are cleverly intriguing. There are unexpected heroes and villains but a most satisfying conclusion. Well written.
The entire series was wonderful. This book had so many twists and turns that it was almost dizzying. It was honestly so surreal. I truly enjoyed this story immensely.
I have to say, this was my favourite of all three books. l had a bit of issues in the beginning to get into the story and don’t get too borred but the last book was quite amusing and interesting to read.
To be honest if you could find a summary of the books before this and then read this one it would save a lot of time because out of the series this book was the only one (in my opinion) worth reading
I absolutely loved the ending of Virga and Tuere story! I couldn't out it down. The writer wraps you into the story and invested into each of the characters.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters. I am glad that everything worked out for them and they got back at Michael for what he did to them.
This series’s had so many twists and turns, I’m glad the Michael got his at end for killing virga and tueur over and again they finally got an happy ending
I really enjoyed the story and the action throughout the book, it did keep me interested even though I’m not a fan of it taking a series for the couple to find peace and happiness
