Whoa -- talk about action and drama in book cover art! That image exactly matches the sense of urgency and danger you'll find within the pages of Undercover Mountain Pursuit. The 'killer' opening scene (complete with Willow hanging out of a helicopter to get the perfect shot!) sets the stage for the an intense game of cat and mouse that plays out relentlessly in a rugged mountain wilderness. And the reunion romance is just as much of an edge-of-your-seater. A voracious finish-in-one-sitting kind of read. Not sure my pulse has steadied yet. :-)
The book Undercover Mountain Pursuit by Sharon Dunn will keep a person in suspense until the very end of the book. I highly recommend this book to other readers. This is the first time I have read a book by this author and I feel she is an excellent writer. I started and finished this book in three days, I just couldn't put this book down. If you enjoy books by the author Mary Higgins Clark which I truly do, she is greatly missed, then you will enjoy books like this one. Pick this book up and read it for yourself!
“Undercover Mountain Pursuit” by Sharon Dunn is an edge-of-your-seat, hold-your-breath suspense.
Willow Farris and Quentin Decker haven’t seen each other for five years. After Willow witnesses a murder, undercover agent Quentin is tasked to keep her safe while trying to keep his mission secret.
Ms. Dunn writes a fast-paced story that will definitely make your heart pound as you root for Willow and Quentin to stay safe as they find their way to happily-ever-after.
Wow! This was an exciting book with tender touches of family and romance. I love the glimpses into the family closeness with the Byrd brothers and their parents. Also got to meet a character that shows up in another one of the author's series, but not telling which one (no spoilers)! I recommend this book to anyone who wants an exciting and satisfying read.
In a lot of novels various parts of the story will outshine the other. In Undercover Mountain Pursuit the plot, characters, pace, etc. are well balanced to make a very entertaining story.
Danger from the beginning! The first paragraph has Willow Farris leaning out of a helicopter to take amazing, hard-to-get photos but she witnesses a murder too! I loved Willow's bravery when she has the pilot land and hurries to help the man who was shot. Her old fiance, Quentin Decker, turns out to now be an undercover trying to identify the leader of an international theft ring. Quentin and Willow face one danger after another as they learn about forgiveness. I recommend Undercover Mountain Pursuit to anyone who enjoys suspense! I won the book in a Suspense Sisters contest. This is my honest opinion,
