This book restored my faith in chivalrous men and romance.
Before you read, let's see why I reviewed it as I did
•I am an Indian so I understand the cultural aspects well, especially the love life part. •I am a second year medico.
⚠️Mild spoilers ahead
Love marriage? Or marraige of convenience turned to love?
I liked how the story had enough elements of romance in college life because medicos are often called out on 'not having a life'.
Ritika's trip and Abhiram's concern during her stay in Nagarhole and Hyderabad were sweet to read albeit scary. How hostel life is and the camaraderie extends towards group study alongwith the bland canteen food were on point😂
I'm not sure if non-medicos will find the medical aspects interesting, but they were absolutely fascinating to me.Abhiram's flirtatious questions from medical syllabus were hilarious and I can't believe Ritika was so naive😂
Gifting a Littmann or Harrison's isn't un-romantic,given it costs a fortune but it's actually romantic mostly because it's something useful than chocolates and roses.
Special mentions ✨Doctors who are apparently supposed to be 'used to death' on a daily basis are also affected and it's okay to be,we are humans after all. ✨The mentality of a typical Indian male was shown BUT it was also pointed out and rectified, not meekly accepted. ✨It wasn't shown that all's well even after break-up and they remained good friends.I'm sure that's a rarity. But that Abhiram and Ritika didn't harbour any ill feelings towards Rupa and wished her well.
4.7/5 rounded off to 5
×There were no TWs. It wasn't a problem for me,but for someone else? TWs:Suicide, accident, blood, alcohol, mention of divorce. ×Editing it further will polish it to be a diamond, one of its kind. ×The surnames of people involved weren't mentioned anywhere.I was curious to know more.
Views expressed are my own in exchange for the book.

How does it feel like having your fav ice cream after a long time? How about feeling the first drop of rain touch your eyes while the gentle breeze gives you a chill?
Meeting the honest, dashing, six-foot athletic frame Abhiram and cute, intelligent, Ritika from Jyoti' s debut novel "Spark of Love.. It lasts forever" felt like that. Encountering something already familiar yet it felt as if knowing it for the first time.
Ritika has a crush on her close family friend and handsome senior from medical college, Abhiram. While she was smartly hiding her secret adulation for him and pretending to be just friends with him, one day her hopes shatter when Abhiram proposes to his colleague, Rupa. This broke Ritika' s heart. Will she be able to win back his love? What will happen to their relationship now?
A cute, innocent and beautiful love story, " Spark of Love.. It lasts forever " can melt your heart and give you a ride through the warmth of friendship, love and familial relationships.
I loved the character of Abhiram the most. He seemed like a perfect guy who respects women and is charming, helpful and responsible. Also I loved how understand ing and caring Ritika was.
Another major factor I loved about the book was the passion and dedication they have to their job. Jyoti, being a doctor herself knew the perfect way of showcasing the characters 'romance' to their profession. She has beautifully thrown light at the life of a medical student and their ever-ready mentality to be of help to the needy. It made me feel more grateful to all the doctors as well as medical professionals who are fighting their battles against corona right now, sacrificing even their life.
The narration is simple and beautiful. Even though I felt it was bit stretched still it did not fully take away the reading experience. If you are looking for a sweet, romantic love story to read, this is a good choice.

This is a beautiful and a cute love story and a blend of love, care and friendship. Ritika and Abhiram’s love story seemed so realistic yet another dreaming love story. This is a medical college love story. You should definitely read this, this will bring out the spark of love hidden within you.
The title is beautiful with a sparkle in it. The cover is pretty beautiful. Loved the plot. The language is simple and easy to understand. Recommended to everyone.
Do you believe in love? . This book starts with us getting to know about Ritika having a crush on Abhiram, who is her family friend as well as senior in the hospital. But Abhiram gets into a relationship with one of his colleagues Rupa. Will Ritika and Abhiram ever get together? . God I hated Rupa. Her character was so damm toxic. She was over-possesive and attention seeker. What I loved was the friendship between Divya and Ritika. It was so good to read about their friendship. What I also loved the sweet bickering between Tarak and Tanusha. Over all it was a good cute read. The story took it's time to set in. Narration of the story was pretty simple ans characters were well written.

🩺This story revolves around Ritika and Abhiram. Ritika, a MBBS student presently serving as an intern in her college had a huge crush on Abhiram, a post graduate in Emergency Medicine from same college. He was not only a seniour to Ritika but also her family friend.
🩺Ritika always hides her feelings for him and pretend to be a friend. But one day all her hopes shattered when she saw Abhiram proposing his colleague, Rupa. To Abhiram, Rupa was a perfect girl for him and also fits perfectly in the criteria of being his life partner.
❓But does Rupa feels the same about him? Will she accept the proposal and reciprocate his feelings with the same affection as of Abhiram ?
🪶For knowing the actual deal about the story, you have to pick this book.
🔮This story is a cute college romantic lovestory which also revolves around concepts like friendship, heart breaks, trust, acceptance. The blend of these elements is amazingly portrayed.
🔮The personality development of both of these main characters is done precisely keeping the tits and bits in mind.
🔮Also I like how this book equally focuses on their dedication towards their work and patients being a doctor.
⭐Rating - 4.5/5⭐
❤️If you are lovestory fan, you need to pick this book. Overall a great attempt by the author. Totally loved it.
Spark of love......It lasts forever is the love story of Abhiram (Ram) and Ritika (Ritu). One of the cutest parts of the book is how Ritika is the only person in Abhiram's life who called him Ram.
Has amazing writing and shows a a realistic picture of the doctor's world. Gives the readers an insight into the daily struggles and how much they work in their day-to-day life.
And the best thing about the book was that the characters showed tremendous growth the especially the (sort of ) antagonist Rupa.
The book was able to show every aspect of relationships, from friendships to family relationships.
The book also did a good job in portraying the gradual transformation of Abhiram's and Ritika's relationship from being just friends (atleast in Abhiram's case) to falling in love with each other. Which was very cute and heartwarming to read 🤧❤️
What I didn't like about the book was that Abhiram was portrayed a bit too possessive.
And Ritika though a strong person, seemed to cry a bit too much. I don't know if it was because the author wanted her portrayed as a sensitive character or just portraying a stereotype that girls are too sensitive and emotional.
The story is something new, fresh, and interesting and the plot is something non-cliche too. But the book does need some editing. It would make it a lot more readable.
Overall a great one time read if you are looking for some light hearted romance.
Sparks of Love is a debut novel of Jyoti B, it's a contemporary romance Fiction wherein Ritika has completed her MBBS and is currently doing her internship in Bengaluru. She has a huge crush on her senior and also a family friend Abhiram, who is her senior and Post Graduate. Now things take bitter turn for Ritika when Abhiram starts dating Rupa who is his classmate.
Now Rupa is someone who is over possessive and toxic wherein Ritika is completely heartbroken after Rupa and Abhiram getting together. Events turn somehow and they breakup. Abhiram's parents want Abhiram to get married to Ritika.
Will Ritika accept this marriage proposal? What actually led to breakup between Rupa and Abhiram?
Now this story might sound like a usual Love triangle plot. But the way in which the story is portrayed is refreshing and engaging. Coming to their profession, I myself being a Medical student loved how details have been taken care of. Lot of things felt very relatable.
My take on the book-
~ Firstly this one is a very cute, artistic and a beautiful cover completely justifying the content. ~ The events and character introduction is well narrated. ~ It's a engaging, relatable and a long but interesting story. ~ The language is lucid and easily understandable.
Personally, I enjoyed this beautiful story throughout. From the events related to their love stories and also their profession. So if the plot interests you, I'll definitely recommend this one...!!!
Arranged marriage to love stories carry an odd gentleness, don't they? The characters don't know each other yet and are taking everything so slow. It's like the first snow melting to meet the grass, gentle and afraid. Sparks of Love by Jyoti B was a great romance book. The story followed Ritika and Abhiram through a journey of friendship to marriage and love. Ritika has had a huge crush on Ram for as long as she can remember and a series of events leads them to holy matrimony. But Abhiram has just gotten out of a toxic relationship and is guarded, afraid of revealing his heart. This is such a cute book and I can gush in its favour for hours! The book took it's own time to set everything in motion (not that I'm complaining) and developed the story very sweetly. The characters were so unique and innocent and it immediately enraptured me. A slow-burn romance between two polar opposite characters. What I did not like, however, was Ram's dominating behaviour. At times, he made decisions for Ritika without really providing her with choices. At times, it also felt like there was a lack of a certain depth. The author can certainly work on that but overall, it was a very fun read. The essence of India was captured so beautifully and the sheer determination of doctors towards their work was portrayed wonderfully. Romance lovers would enjoy this one very much.

A very cute and sweet love story of doctors Abhiram and Ritika. Abhi is a dream boy of every girl and Ritu is a next door girl. They are family friends and Abhi is a senior of Ritika in their professional lives. She has crush on him. Somehow their family arranged their marriage and the fall into love with each other after the marriage. Friendship of Abhi with Chetanya and Ritu with Diya gives us a example of true friendship. Their friendship was adorable and the book becomes more interesting when Chetanya and Diya falls in love with each other. It is a very sweet and simple Story. Story goes in a good pace. Language used in the book is lucid. Struggles and hard work of the doctors is well shown in book. Though it is a author's first book but her work is amazing and remarkable in every aspect. Eagerly waiting for author's next book.
Jyoti B's debut novel Sparks of Love is contemporary romance Fiction revolving around the protagonist Dr. Abhiram and Ritika,
It will be interesting to see how things will turn for Ritika as she has a crush on Abiram, but Abhiram, proposes Rupa, Ritika's classmate.
This story is a charming, college, romantic love story that revolves around friendship, heartbreaks, and trust acceptance. Jyoti has beautifully blended these elements, which makes an overall portrait of the book interesting.
Jyoti's writing style makes the book slow-paced yet not boring at all. The language is very transparent, which makes the reader stuck with the book till the last page.
I would recommend this book to college students who would love to read a charming college love story with various emotional elements.

Its a five star read for me. As I was finding a light read book. And this is the one. And the medical knowledge provided was also accurate. The research was also good. The way of writing kept me hooked. I liked the characters. Its relatable. The bond they shared even when they were not together and the way Ritu was always there for him was 🥺 . The character of Ram was good, a gentle man. By the end I also came to like Rupa 😅 and the side love story of Chaitanya of Diya was ❣️. Thank you author for writing. Hope you will come up with another awesome story.

Being medico my self I loved reading a book related to medical field and it was quite descriptive in nature I liked character of ritu but hated the fact that you ignored major fact that mostly first year PG students dose not even get time for proper meal and you dropped a relationship between two different departments first years but still I really really appreciate your effort and would love to read such stories more and more
