Elijah has accepted the fact that he might always be alone. He was fine with making his pets his fur babies. That was until a stranger entered his shop on a cold and rainy summer day. Elijah knew right away that the black panther was his mate. The problem was, Zane hated wolves. That was an issue considering Elijah was a wolf shifter. Now he feared Zane would reject him, leaving Elijah broken hearted.

Betrayed by those he thought he could trust, Zane had a target on his back. With nowhere to go, and two demons after him, Zane finds himself in Fever’s Edge. Trying to get out of the rain, he runs into the local flower shop, only to discover that fate had given him a wolf shifter as a mate. After wolves had killed his brother, Zane despises them. But he has to put his trust in Elijah’s hands if he was going to keep his mate safe and go after those who betrayed him.

Fucking finally Elijah has his own story, and a mate!

It hurts when Zane acted like that toward Elijah. The pain that he felt was so palpable and well written. When Zane finally accepted him, the story went full force with so much adventure, hilarious moments and funny banter between the pack's members.

It was a great read, absolute 5 stars!

I just love, love, loved, this book. I loved that Elijah finally found his mate, Zane. Zane had serious issues that he needed to work through, but eventually his heart was open to Elijah, his little wolf. I loved the writing and I loved the characters. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat and the ending was heartfelt. I totally loved this addition to Fever's Edge. Excited for more. :D

No cumplió con mis expectativas.

Zane y Elijah estuvieron... bien.
Respecto a Hannah, al final fue inocente y solo terminó abandonada por Zane. Ojalá hubiese sido culpable, así el abandono hubiese tenido justificación.

Además, Zane aceptó a los lobos en 48 horas desde que los conoció. ¿Por qué no hicieron qué pasara al menos 1 mes o algo? Todo sucede tan rápido qué decepciona.

Hmmmm cats & dogs (wolves)!!!

Boy howdy does the action start quick in this storu!!!! I really love that the books pull in characters from other series - we got to see Prince Christian & Maverick in the last boo! And in this one Hondo (demon warrior) made an appearance!!! Can't wait for the next one good thing I have it!!!!

Fatherly love

Zane was running from demons and took refuge in flower shop meeting his mate Elijah. Problems from the start demon danger and hating wolves. Zane finds love, family and home. He gets help with the demons and finds out who paid them to kill him
