Holly Yee’s life is shattered when she witnesses the murder of her ex, forcing her into hiding from mobsters who want her eliminated. Pregnant and now under the protection of bodyguard and former Navy SEAL Kenton Price, she’s going a little stir crazy in his apartment. Holly’s always been a woman of action and sitting on the sidelines while the investigation takes place really isn’t her thing. Former jocks aren’t really her thing either, but there’s something about Ken that is different from the other men she’s known. Something hot. And sexy. And…special. Most of all, she feels safe—until the mob targets Ken, putting both their lives in danger.
Despite the threat to himself, Ken’s priority is protecting Holly and her unborn baby. In a short time, she’s become important to him. Too important. His professional resolve to not become involved with a client is testing him in a big way. Holly is as smart as she is gorgeous and he can’t stop himself from being attracted to her. That’s as far as it can go. She’s going to be a mom and one thing he won’t do is break a little kid’s heart when their relationship ultimately ends. He learned that hard lesson as a kid. Despite his resolve to keep his distance, ultimately he can’t resist her. He tells himself—and her—it’s just a fling. Too bad his heart isn’t listening…

Book three in the series brings Ken and Holly's story. The author once again brings strong characters and weaves an exciting and intriguing story. She does a great job building the story and brings it to life with her perfectly painted scenes. She pulled me in right from the start and had me glued to the pages right to the end. I loved the series epilogue with the characters from the first two books coming back. I loved and would highly recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Another great story but this author that has suspense mixed in with sweetness and a surprise! The twists and turns had me on the edge and I practically couldn't put this down.
Protecting His Pregnant Partner, in spite of its cheesy title (which is in keeping with the titles of books 1 and 2 of this series), is a decent romantic suspense.
In the prologue, we get Holly Yee's perspective of the night she and two friends witnessed a mob hit. The victim was Zak, her ex-boyfriend slash baby daddy, who apparently had been freelancing with the mob. The police arrive, and the women are rescued, but soon after start getting death threats. Enter Aegis Security and its three partners, who are hired for protection, one guy per woman.
While Michael heads out to the woods with Nicole (who is also his ex) and Easton and Charlotte travel to Florida posing as honeymooners, Holly stays in town as Kenton Price's "guest" in his supposedly uber-secure apartment. From the beginning, they cheerfully trade barbs and try not to go stir crazy, and pretty soon an attraction grows. But it's complicated; Holly is pregnant (with a dead pseudo mobster's kid), the mob is after her, and Ken (whose mom is on husband #4) is fighting daddy abandonment issues of his own.
When not boinking in every room of the small apartment, Holly and Ken are digging into the crime. Holly, as it turns out, has an email from her ex that may hold clues that can bring down the mob. She also shows a remarkable attitude for investigative digging.
I didn't love Holly at first; she came across as a little spoiled or rude that first night at Ken's apartment, shamelessly claiming the one bed (relegating Ken to the pullout), turning up her nose at his penchant for healthful eating, and seemingly letting him not only cook but also do all the cleanup. I worried that she'd be one of those heroines who would constantly ignore his orders (relating to his role as a bodyguard, that is) and put herself in danger. But fortunately, she ends up being smarter than that. By about halfway through, I grew to like her.
Not much happens in the plot, to be honest. It's mostly the two of them getting to know each other and trying to solve the case. It could be that the author was reluctant to put a pregnant heroine in physical danger, but that's just a guess. Also, I'm not entirely sure why the mob is after Holly and her friends. It might be because they saw Zak's killers face, or more llikely it's that they knew Zak had sent Holly evidence. Regardless, I wish the motivation has been clearer. When the story's (and series') conclusion finally comes, it both comes and ends rather quickly.
In the end, this book is a good escapist read that you can easily finish in a couple of hours. I don't think it'll grab at your heart or throat at all, but it won't leave a bad taste in your mouth either.
I received an ARC of this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. Thanks!

Leslie North has written a very nice romantic suspense in Protecting His Pregnant Partner. It is book 3 in The Aegis Series. Retired Navy Seal Kenton Price is called upon to be the bodyguard of Holly Yee. She saw her ex boyfriend, Zak Bryant, gunned down in the back alley where he worked at a bar called McKinleys. Holly met Zak to talk to him about the pregnancy she just found out about. She took her two best friends, Nicole and Charlotte, with her and Nicole went outside with Zak to take out the trash and talk a minute in some quiet. Nicole is just coming in the door and Holly is looking out at Zak when he is shot in the chest by a rat faced man. Shes as shocked as he is when she screams and alerts him to her presence. Her friends block her from going out to help Zak. As she is in shock her friends slam the door shut and call 911 as they help her to the floor amid shots ringing out. She feels guilty for not helping him. The friends receive death threats and dire warnings against themselves and their family from the mob. Yes! The Mob was involved! So the women are forced to go to Aegis Security to help them. Kenton Prices boss Michael once dated Nicole and he gives them a discount as they can't pay full price. Due to money restrictions and Hollys pregnancy the guys had to get creative and get the girls protection. Kenton is picked to be Hollys protector and they stay in town at his apartment. Nicole and her son goes with Michael this cabin in the woods. The third partner is called upon during his personal vacation to take Charlotte with him to the resort hes staying at. While the week goes by Holly goes stir crazy. She looks around and finds the folder containing Zaks case. She reads the report and is caught by Ken. He tells her to stay out of the investigation but she points out some flaws already in the statements written down. After some consideration Ken decides to let her help crack the case. They get close due to the intimacy of sharing the apartment and working together. Ken has problems with getting involved with a woman with children. He remembers the way it felt when the man involved in the relationship leaves. During this book there are ups and downs. There is an incredible ending which i loved.. It is a fabulous book. I suggest you Read it!
This was the third and final book in the Aegis Security Series, where Nicole and Charlotte go with Holly Yee to the McKinley Bar to have a talk with Zak Bryant the father of Holly's unborn baby. Right after, they got there Zak was gunned down in the ally in back of the bar being witnessed by all three women. Fortunately, the police were able to get there before the gunman could get to them. Shortly, after that Nicole started getting threatening e-mails against all of their lives. The police told her to hire her own security, so she went to Aegis Security. They gave them a deal where her old friend Michael would protect Nicole and her son, Grant at a remote mountain cabin, Easten would take Charlotte on a fake honeymoon, and Kenton Price would be responsible for Holly at his very secure apartment in the city close to medical care if needed. Being closed up in a small apartment was difficult for both Holly and Ken as they were both take action people. Ken was an ex-navy SEAL and Holly was a trained investigative reporter, so she was used to digging for information. She wanted to work on this case and no one would let her. Finally, Ken broke down letting her help him do some investigation over the computer, since the police were going no where on the case. Turned out she knew more about the case than anyone ever thought. The more they worked together the closer they got, until Ken was starting to wonder how he ever lived alone before. They seemed to make the perfect team. His only worry was if things did not work out was the child, since he had two step-father's that he got attacked to that were there one day and gone the next. A wonderful story with mystery, intrigue, and romance that you will not be able to put down.

This is the 3rd book in the Aegis Security series. I did not read the first 2 but this book did whet my appetite for reading the others. Although this book can be read as a standalone, if you are going to read the series, do start with the first 2 books ( Protecting the Single Mother and Protecting His Fake Wife ) as Protecting His Pregnant Partner concludes the previous overarching storyline.
Ken has to protect Holly after she (and her friends) receive death threats. They are the witnesses to the murder of Holly's ex boyfriend. As Holly is pregnant, she needs to stay close to her doctor. For protection, Ken and Holly stays in Ken's apartment. The forced proximity brings a closeness to their relationship that gets physical.
To counter boredom and hurry the situation along, Holly and Ken start investigating the murder. Working together, Ken's respect for Holly grows but his own personal issues with dating single mothers brings about some tension to the relationship. The banter is good, the pregnancy dealt with lightly but with respect and the murder mystery is not too heavy.
That said, I felt I got to know Ken much more than Holly, who in essence remained a somewhat flat character in the book. Still a good read to while away some idle time.
I am in LOVE with this Series! Leslie North has done it again. My heart. Oh my goodness. I didn’t think I could love this series any more than I already did, but I was so very happy to be wrong. In the third installment of the Aegis Security series, “Protecting His Pregnant Partner,” the original drama from the first two books is finally resolved, and we get to see the building attraction between Aegis business partner Ken and feisty Holly. Ken is hotter than hot and a little bit damaged (aren’t we all?) while Holly is the smart, tenacious beauty that turns his life upside down when he is tasked with keeping her safe. Their connection is intense, and the assurance of their HEA is questioned frequently, but it is such a great story. Over the course of the series, I have come to adore each and every character as North has created this family dynamic among dear friends that just feels real. So many times, I found myself giggling at Holly’s antics or getting a little emotional about Ken’s numerous aww-inducing moments (like talking to her baby bump – swear to goodness that’ll make a woman’s ovaries combust!), and whoa…North writes some seriously steamy scenes! And without giving anything away, there is a group text between Ken, Michael, and Easton that just did it for me…and that’s only in Chapter 8! If it’s at all possible (and yes, I’m aware that they aren’t real, and this is clearly unreasonable), I’m in book-love with these three protective, wonderful former SEALs. Leslie North, may we please have another story? How about Jed? Maybe a next generation story for Grant? I don’t want it to end!
Book Three of the Aegis Security Series is the story of Holly and Ken. Holly is the third in the group of three friends that witnessed a mob murder hit who just happened to be an ex boyfriend of Holly’s and she is pregnant with his child. So Holly is being protected by Ken a bodyguard and former Navy Seal and one third owner of Aegis Security. Beings that Holly is pregnant the partners of the firm decide that the best and safest location to protect her is in Ken’s apartment in the city that way she is close to her doctors in case the need arises. So Ken and Holly are locked up in his apartment with nothing better to do than to start unintentionally start falling for each other. Ken has some past issue’s with his moms failed relationships and father figures walking away and never having contact with him again, his issues are NEVER date moms in case it doesn’t work out kids are the ones that get hurt!! He knows from experience. But in no time whatsoever Holly and her unborn child have become very important to him. It scares and unnerves the daylights out of him and he fights it with everything he’s got. Their journey has lots of turmoil, danger, guilt, attempted murder, murder, heartbreak, suspense, hope, love and acceptance while they are each and together seeking their HEA. Trust me, grab a nice comfortable chair, and a nice big cup of tea you are not going to want to budge until you reach the last word on the last page. This author is quickly climbing the ranks of my favorite author list. You won’t be disappointed. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.
He just cannot stay away from her no matter how hard he tries
Protecting His Pregnant Partner is the third book in the Aegis Security series and is the story of Holly Yee and Kenton Price. The overarching story-line of the story is that three girl friends, Holly, Charlotte and Nicole (both of their stories are in the two previous books) see a mob murder and when threats start they need protection. So Nicole turns to her ex Michale and Aegis Security. He and his two partners agree to take on the protection of these lovely ladies and each man gets one of the women.....who ends up being the woman they each fall for. Ken ends up getting Holly to protect but there is also the addition life to protect with her unborn baby. Holly is independent but was knocked for six when she and her friends saw her ex and baby daddy being killed. She is willing to be under Ken's protection but at the same time she chafes at the tight control and being locked down. For Ken Holly turns out to really bring out his protective and possessive Alpha in full force. Even though he will not get involved with Holly there is still something about her that he cannot stay away from, even though his is a disciplined and strong ex Navy SEAL.
This last book in the series is a sweet, spicy and action packed face-paced read. The story-line and characters are both well done and very enjoyable. The story has danger, action, suspense, mystery, romance, fun and some sizzling sexy passion.
Former SEAL, now elite bodyguard and security expert Ken doesn’t know what to do the feelings his client, Holly, has stirred in him. It is normal to feel protective in his line of work, but the attraction and desire he feels for the woman he is charged with protecting is beyond normal for him. Add in the tenderness he has toward the child Holly is carrying and Ken is out of his comfort zone and unsure of how to proceed. It doesn’t help that she is infuriating, a chatterbox, far too smart and ruthless board game player because those traits seem to make her all the more endearing. As the danger escalates from those who are looking for her and her friends, Holly and Ken give into their attraction for each other and spend a night in each other’s arms. Despite agreeing it can’t happen again, they can’t keep their hands off each other. Ken’s past fills him with doubts about having a relationship with a single mom, which leads him to try to distance himself from Holly. Her friends tell Holly to fight for her man, but before she can do so, she must face the enemy. The conclusion of this book wraps up things beautifully for all three couples featured in this series.

So now we are at where all of the couples have all come back together to take care of this mob boss once and for all he has already took a shot out of Kent and poor Holly is so scared and she just can not let her guard down, Nicole and Charlotte have to protect her and the guys have to protect all 3 of the woman as well as Ethan Nicole son. so they make a plan to catch this guy and lets just say things do not go as planned and poor Holly is thrown for a curve and Kent has finally decided he wants Holly for himself and now he has to capture this murderer before he murders Holly even if they all stick together something can always come apart and yes you guessed it, Holly is acousted by this credint and Kent and MIcheal and the new recruit has to find her before the worst thing happens to her but Holly is smart and she turns the tables on this guy and just when her saviours arive she grabs a crow bar and smacking the tar out of him then the police finnaly show up and take him in to custody and that leads to taking down the whole mob boss and his crooked family. Good book 5 stars we finally get our happily ever after for all 3 couples.

Protecting His Pregnant Partner (Aegis Security #3) by Leslie North Genre: General Fiction (Adult) | Romance Publication Date: May 6, 2021
Protecting His Pregnant Partner is the third book in the Aegis Security series by Leslie North. I loved the first two books and this one was even better!
I loved how the two main characters are actively involved in the crime solving mystery. It was fun getting to uncover the why for the whole series. I loved the chemistry between Holly & Ken. They were so much fun to read about, I couldn't help smiling to myself. Also, the steamy romance was something else!
I loved how fast paced this was! I couldn't put the book down in read it in one evening! I really loved this series and am secretly hoping there will be future books involving Aegis Security! I'm not ready for this group to leave my life! I would definitely recommend reading this whole series because it is a lot of fun, with great suspense, including edge of your seat drama, hot former Navy SEALS, and lots of steamy goodness!
I'm so grateful to Leslie North, the publisher, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.
Holly and Viking Ken are a match!!! This is the last of the series, but I was really hoping for one more. Jed deserves to have his own story. This is about Ken who is protecting Ms. Carmen Sandiego wannabe, Holly. Holly is Nicole and Charlottes best friend and business partner. Nicole, Charlotte, and Holly all witnessed a murder of Hollys boyfriend and father of her unborn child. Each of them have had someone protect them while they’re been in hiding because the person who did the murder is part of the mob. Ken and Holly are both attracted to each other, but Ken does not want to have anything to do with a pregnant woman due to his past experience with stepfather’s. Ken is hilarious especially with his healthy cooking and board games. Ken has fallen more for Holly that he expected but he is about to lose her. Can they work this out?
Love the story how it ends for a fact that a pregnant woman has more strength that she is given credit for. Not only is she strong but she also discovers her true passion.

A dynamic detecting duo Protecting His Pregnant Partner (Aegis Security Book 3) by Leslie North, the final book and resolution to the Aegis series is wonderfully well written and nicely done to stand alone, but an excellent conclusion to long-running suspense that impacted these three strong, brave women. Holly has a lot to lose. Unexpectedly pregnant, placed in a highly stressful situation and extremely attracted to her bodyguard makes things a little bit awkward with Ken. Once they give themselves permission to explore, they are all in physically. The plot is beginning to be resolved as Ken finally begins to share with Holly and she stretches her investigative skills. Working well together until feelings and emotions begin to surface, then it’s an all stop and back to professional interactions only. Overall, despite the casual disclaimers, Holly and Ken are anything but casual. In the end, the danger as well as their hearts are resolved for a wonderful, romantic and promising HEA. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily sharing my review.
This is the story of Holly Yee and Kenton Price, former SEAL and partner in a security firm, Aegis Security. When Holly and her best friends, Nicole and Charlotte, witness the murder of her ex by the mob, followed by deadly threats against them, they need immediate protection. Each woman will be protected by a member of Aegis Security, but this story focuses on Holly.
Holly is pregnant and now under the protection of bodyguard and former Navy SEAL Kenton Price. A woman used to a high level of activity, she is feeling restless in his apartment. She is feeling safe until the mob goes after Ken, and both their lives are now in danger. Holly has become important to him, and he can’t allow himself to cross the line. Human nature being what it is, they do give in. But he doesn’t want to be a father to her child due to his own past experience, knowing the child would be the one who suffers when he has to leave the relationship. Will he be able to walk away when this assignment is completed? Or is there something else in store for him?
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. The third book in the Aegis Security series follows Kenton and Holly. He has been assigned the task of keeping a pregnant Holly safe after her and her friends witness her ex killed by the mob. The three women were headed to tell him that she was pregnant when it all went down. Ken has vowed not to get involved with her, just keep her safe. Holly and her baby bring out every alpha protective feeling he has ever had. She is determined to get to the bottom of all the clues and put the threat to rest. It does not change how she feels about Ken and their developing feelings. When the threat is finally ended, they have a chance to have a happy family together. This book has plenty of danger, suspense, twists and turns, friendship and love.

Finally we get to read Holly and Ken's story which was well worth the wait! Ken is not interested in permanent relationships nor would he consider dating a client, that is until he found himself protecting a pregnant Holly who's Baby Daddy was murdered in a Mob Hit. His apartment might be safe and was the logical place to act as a safe house for Holly on such short notice but he soon finds that she has taken over his personal space and eventually his heart. Can he accept that she might just be "the one"; or will he continue with his usual ways regarding women he "dates" even if he finds that thought a miserable one. Great conclusion to this three part story involving three friends; Holly, Charlotte and Nicole who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time when they witnessed the murder of Holly ex.

Holly meets with her Ex, to discuss her pregnancy with him. To support her she brings along her two best friends. They are shocked, when they see him being killed Mafia-style, and know their lives are at risk. One of her friends arranges a bodyguard service. Going into hiding with him and trying to solve the murder at the same time, They make a good team, but bringing down the murderer is dangerous. A well-written story, the last in a trilogy describing the same situation for each of the women, starting with seeomg the murder to the final solution. As each woman has a completely different hiding place and faces a completely different set of challenges, the books can be read as independent stories, But reading all three books fills in gaps in the story one was not aaware of when reading the first or the second story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the third book in The Aegis Security Series and tells the story from Holly's view point. As with the other two books, the story starts with the killing of Holly's ex Zak, which is witnessed by her and her two friends. After receiving threats Holly, and her friends Nicole and Charlotte seek protection from Zak's killer until the police can find them. Aegis Security is run by Nicole's ex Michael and he assigns Kenton Price to protect Holly who is pregnant with Zak's child. Holly is a very independent lady and does not take well to being told what to do and having to remain hidden away. She does however assist Ken is investigating the leads that they have and more details of their case are disclosed in this book. As previously there are twists and turns, ups and downs and of course of the conclusion of the three girls story. The ending was a little too abrupt for me but I did enjoy this series and would recommend it.
When Holly and her two best friends go to see her ex-boyfriend to share the news that he is about to become a father their visit takes a turn when they witness his murder and the perpetrator wants them eliminated. They decide to hire Aegis Security and Kenton has been tasked with keeping her safe until the guilty parties are apprehended.
Kenton is an ex-Navy SEAL who is now a partner in a security company he started with two of his teammates. Due to his past he is determined to deny his attraction to Holly but as their investigation continues the chemistry between them escalates as does the danger around them and there is nothing he won’t do to keep Holly and her baby safe.
Kenton’s past has made him cautious when it comes to relationships and children however even though they were brought together under the most unlikely of circumstances that doesn’t mean they aren’t a perfect pair.
This 3rd book in a series of books about the witnesses to a murder. To protect them after they are hunted, 3 ex-seals are paired with 3 women. Michael protects Nicole, Charlotte is protected by Easton, and the pregnant Holly by Ken. The books can be read independently but it is better to read them in sequence. In this part, Holly shows that she's not just a pregnant woman ducking in fear. Here she mainly shows her strong side and her help also leads to the perpetrator. Like her friends, she not only finds protection from her Navy Seal during this protection period, but finds a love for life. Ken tries to keep it professional but falls for Holly's charm and intelligence. But he doesn't dare to think in long term relationship. His examples were not the best and it terrifies him to become a father. Fortunately, Holly manages to convince him of the right thing. Crime solved, 3x a HEA

This is the story I feel like I’ve been waiting the whole series for. We finally learn the details behind what the ladies witnessed and whether or not they get to see justice done. I fell in love with Ken immediately. I’m not sure what it was about the strong, stoic SEAL, but I connected deeply with him. Perhaps it’s because the author let us see his fears so clearly. I found it a little more difficult to like Holly. She felt all porcupine-prickly and came across as a bit spoiled and entitled. I understand that these were her ways of coping with the situation she was thrust into, it just meant that she wasn’t my favorite character in the series. I loved, absolutely loved, the way this ends, both this book and the series. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
Protecting his Pregnant Partner is the final book in the Aegis security series. This is where we find out who is after Nicole, Charlotte and Holly. It was Holly’s ex that the three saw gunned down by someone working for the mob. All three have had Aegis security bodyguards! Nicole ended up with Michael, and Charlotte with Easton. The two of them were being tracked down so they could tell the mob informant where Holly was. Now we can’t wait to find out why they are so interested in pregnant Holly! Holly is being guarded by Ken and they have chemistry but it is a tricky situation. He never crosses the line with a client and he knows she is going to be a mom and doesn’t want to break a kids heart! He also has some issues from his past that he has to deal with. Once everyone is back together everything begins to fall into place!
This is a standalone book but is about the third of three women (Holly - already pregnant) who witness a murder and have to go into hiding with three separate protectors. Readers would enjoy the first two books in the Aegis Security series to read standalone stories of the first two women who witness the murder. Holly is protected by a former SEAL named Kenton (Ken), who also happens to be a target (the mob is after him) so both Holly and Ken are in danger throughout the story. Can they find out who committed the murder, and maybe catch him? Can they keep safe? What should they do about the intense attractions they find is between them? Can they have an HEA? I highly recommend all three books in the series.

This is the 3rd book in the Aegis Security Book. This book brings us Holly Yee and Kenton Price, aka Ken. Ken is Holly's security and he takes his job very seriously. I loved Holly. She was so strong for her baby (Bean). When her ex is killed in front of her, she is determined to find out who did it for her baby. Once Ken lets Holly in on some of the information he has, they work together well, however, they are also beginning to have more than friends feelings for each other. Ken is adorable as he even calls Holly's baby bean, that he will do whatever he needs to to protect both of them. When they finally "crack" the case, the others from previous books all come back, but Ken isn't sure that he is marriage material, so he does something stupid. However, the ending is spectacular. I highly recommend this book and this series. I did receive an arc for an honest review.
Holy Crapamoly thi is a great series. It is about a young gorgeous pregnant mom (Holly) and her hot, muscular, extremely dreamy bodyguard (Ken). So, Holly witnesses her husband's murder. Now, if that's not traumatic enough, the mob comes after her. Ken is from Aegis Security and becomes her bodyguard. His main focus is to protect Holly and her baby. Nothing is more important. He is good at what he does (Okay ladies, I'm still talking about his profession. Geesh) any way, one of the reasons he can stay focused is because he's made it a rule to not fraternize with his clients. He never breaks his rules. But heavens if Holly's beauty isn't pressing on him to forget that rule. He finally responds to the strong chemistry between them. But now his client is precious to him. He has to keep his focus, he can't make any mistakes.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and this last book was just as wonderful. Former Navy SEAL and now part owner of Aegis Security Kenton Price has become the protector and bodyguard of pregnant Holly Yee. Holly and her two best friends witnessed the murder of Holly’s ex-boyfriend and now the mob is after them . But spending time in close quarters is starting to get difficult. These opposites are starting to develop an attraction, but getting involved with a client is a no no. His past also affects his determination to stay away from any involvement. As the danger intensifies, will feelings continue to be put aside ? This last story was just as great as the other two making this series one worth your time. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
I LOVED this 3 book series and this book brought the BEST conclusion to all of the stories. This book focused on Holly and Ken. Holly and her friends witnessed the murder of Holly’s ex and are in danger. Ken and his friends have a security company that have the ladies under their protecting. You will get more out of the stories if you read them in order because they happen at the same time, but they can be enjoyed as standalones. Holly is pregnant so Ken chooses to keep her in his apartment. Close proximity for an extended period of time has these two moving away from arguing into attraction. I LOVED this couple and this entire series! This book has wraps up the story of who’s after them, and whether or not that all end up couples in the end. Definitely recommend this book!

I really enjoyed this book, I have read the other books in this series and I loved how they connect but are standalone all at the same time. It was very well written and like I said I love how they over lap and can relate to parts from the other books. I enjoyed reading about Holly and little Bean. She is a strong sassy character and gives Ken a run for his money. Ken was used to a quiet life and at first found it hard Holly being there, but over time they got use to each other. When Holly had the hump with Ken all was quiet and Ken realised he didnt like it. Only Holly was all in but Ken was like no but after he was like damn I love her after all, but is he too late. Read it and found out. Loved this book, and the author. Highly recommend

The final book in the trilogy of Aegis Security. Holly, Charlotte and Nicole witness a mob murder of Holly's ex who is the father of her baby when they go to meet with him. They all 3 go into protective custody with different partners with Aegis Security. Holly goes with Ken (Kenton) who is a health nut and will not let her leave his apartment. Holly goes stir crazy and starts researching the murder and the clues. She is very attracted to her and him to her. They give into their desires but he backs away and is afraid to be a father to her child. Leslie North does a great job of tying up the story line. I really enjoyed and highly recommend.
Was given and ARC by Netgalley for an honest review.
