Examines the history of efforts to convert the Indians of North America to Christianity and the resulting impact on the beliefs of these native peoples.
Interesting, brief overview of Christianity's reception and consequences for the Native population on North America (Mexico to Alaska -- with less coverage given to Canada and Mexico than the US). The book is written for the Young Adult market, which makes it easily read and understood, but the scholarship appears to be solid. I am interested in reading other books in the same series.
