Absolution

Rate this book
Since I was a little girl I’ve chased the picket fence life, the knight on the white horse to come riding in and sweep me off my feet. I had almost given up on that fantasy, until I met Brody guitarist extraordinaire with the magic fingers and expert tongue. He was my shining beacon in my dark world, the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Ever since the devastating news of the motorcycle accident, I prayed to whoever would listen to bring him back to me. But would he still be the same Brody I fell in love with, or would he be a shell of what he used to be? It would test our love to the limit, but only time would tell if we were strong enough to survive. First came redemption, then came absolution.

Wow this story is amazing I read Sam’s and Peyton’s book and I cried through those books and now we have Brody’s and Raleigh’s continuation. Brody doesn’t need women or drugs he needs Raleigh she’s his addiction, this relationship definitely is a roller coaster ride it’s heartbreaking and this author is making me a mumbling mess with these tragic stories but I loved it it’s an amazing series and I can’t wait to read more of these Tattoo’s and Tears series because there are plenty of tears especially from me lol and I definitely recommend this book/ series.

Brody story is definitely a test of self, opening your heart, redemption, seeing that for every up there has to be a down and finally absolution.

It's an eye opener with characters you want to slap a few times, cry with them, laugh with and feel the love that is stronger than the most addictive substance.

Grab the tissues, a good drink and get lost in a romance where the road is bumpy and unpaved but they travel it barefoot so we can experience their triumphs over tragedy, heart over heartbreak and love over addiction. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

Brody deserves his happily ever after. I enjoyed his aha moments where he realized what he was doing and why. His life was filled with sorrow and angst, and he needed his kitten to pull him through and put him on the right path.

Wow. That’s all I can say. This book is perfection.

I’m not even sure how to write this review as I don’t want to spoil anything. I always write my opinion, instead of telling what happens in the book ( hence the blurb after each post) but there are so many events in this book. It’s hard not to say anything and give a bit of a spoiler.

We know Redemption ended with Brody’s accident. But I was not ready to find out what happened. You think because it’s a book there has to be a happy ending. He survives the accident and everything goes back to normal. Well, it doesn’t.

My heart broke for Brody so many times in this book. Especially after what happened to Lorna.
He truly loved her, but he realises that love is nowhere near those feelings he has for Raleigh. And I was so glad he finally realised that!
As you know I pretty much hated him in the first book.

When you read this book, you get to know him better, and soon it’s clicks. Why does he go for women who needs to be saved? Because that’s what he does. And it all leads back to his past with his mother.

Absolution is full of events, heartbreaks, tears and joy too.
If you gave up on Brody after reading Redemption, please just sit down and think … and give him another chance. He deserves it.

Just to finish my review, I would also like to mention how strong Raleigh is. Most of us would have walked away, and she nearly did. But she knows that she can’t live without Brody, and he can’t live without her. I’m so glad they got their happy ending. They truly deserve it after what they went through!

I hope the other guys will get their story/book too🥰

Brody & Raleigh

Although I enjoyed this book a whole lot I feel that that their journey was a little over the top and somewhat similar to Sam & Peyton. Other than that it was a good read.
