Jon Silva is a twenty- seven year old MMA fighter. He’s a person with outstanding physical prowess and overwhelming talent. His looks as well as his talent has earned him a large fan base of both men and women. After a fight with his rival, River Enny, he ends up with a bad injury and the first scandal of his career. Eve Harley is a physiotherapist who is diligent in everything but her time management. She’s the best physiotherapist in her department and as such she’s asked to help Jon Silva recover from his injury. The only problem is that she’s terrified of him. For the next three months Eve and Jon will have to live together while he recovers. How will she handle it? This is the 1st book in Jon Silva series
2.5 Although I was interested in the story of this book I won't be continuing with it, because the author decided to divided the book in several small parts.
Book 1 of this series. We meet Jon, inured MMA fighter and Eve, Jon’s physiotherapist for the next three months. The book sets the stage for the upcoming books and ends as the two are just meeting. Has some danger and intrigue. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
*Spoilers* The protagonist of the story Jon Silva is made out to be the bad guy when a fight he was involved in went wrong and his opponent dies. Jon is injured and needs medical attention. His opponent's fans are out to get him as they believed that he is totally responsible for his opponent's death. He is removed from the hospital and taken to a hideout and that is where Eve comes in. She is ordered by her boss to go nurse Jon back to health as his physiotherapist. As a start to a series it is a very interesting storyline. I cannot wait to see the tension between the two of them as she is clearly scared of him and he insists that he does not need a physiotherapist. Sparks are sure to fly. A recommended read.

Short story. Though not badly written, it does not offer much save for setting out the storyline and 2 main characters. Jon Silva, MMA fighter and Eve, appointed physiotherapist. The story sets out background for each individual and ends at the point of them about to meet. The sequel will probably provide more, but this book was like reading the first few chapters and doesn't end on a cliffhanger. There is no excitement or intrigue to encourage the reader as I felt there was nothing of particular interest to it. I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them, which have been better presented and I think this is why I found this book lacking.

All the basic background is placed in this story as Jon, an MMA fighter, is injured in a fight where the other fighter dies. He is whisked away to a hidden location, away from fans of his and his opponents who are wanting revenge. Eve, a physiotherapist, has been assigned to help him recover but she is scared by what she saw of him in a fight years earlier when she was sixteen. The characters and storyline are well detailed and show great emotions. Plenty of surprises and twists already so can not wait for the next part of this storyline.

Normally I would not read this type of book. Jon and Eve are about to meet each other for the first time. Eve has been sent to help Jon recover from hi injuries. She is terrified and he doesn't know it. This book describes the characters and the scenery for the reasons they are meeting. What will happen is anybody's guess. The plot is enough to keep you reading. Looking forward to finding out how this story progresses.
This series is starting off good. Book one is setting up for things to come between Eva and Jon. I like the detailed back story for them both, it gives enough information to help understand the dynamics to come. That cliffhanger leaves me dying to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out.

This was a great little read - getting to meet the characters & why they would meet.
I can’t wait to read the next instalment, I want to learn all about Jon & Eve! I want to see how Eve gets over her fear & I want to see how Jon recovers.
This has definitely left me thirsty for more!!

This is the first book out of five. It is an amazing start to the series, with getting a little background on each character. I really can’t wait to find out what the happens in the next book.
I love Kylar's writing

Fast paced lead in that holds your interest! Characters are shaping up to be complex and total opposites.... will be interested to see if sparks fly or if an instant freak out occurs at the first meeting....

I enjoyed Jon & Eve's book. It was a short but entertaining read. This was a new author for me. I got a copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
