Solo rescato un 10-20% del libro. Es extremadamente teórico, nunca aterriza los conceptos ni utiliza ejemplos. Además, es redundante respecto al aprendizaje básico en ingenierías de gestión

Varios cambios en relación a la versión 6. Aparecen los "principios" como novedad y el cambio de los "dominios de desempeño" por las áreas de conocimiento.

Además, es un enfoque basado en la entrega de valor, en donde las herramientas, ciclos de vida o metodologías (o buenas prácticas) no son lo más resaltante, es decir, para entregar valor puedes hacerlo como waterfall, como ágil o como híbrido, de acuerdo a la naturaleza del proyecto.

Reading the PMBOK Guide was a real eye-opener for me. It showed me how project management is about more than just getting things done—it's about doing them well. I learned how using a clear structure and good practices can make any project run smoother. It also made me see the value of communication and planning in keeping things on track. The PMBOK Guide changed how I approach projects, both at work and in my personal life.

El PMBok 7 refleja el proceso de transicion entre las metodogias tradicionales a las metodologias agiles expuestas en el Manifiesto Agil de 2001. Este documento es muy conceptual, probablemente estamos muy acostubrados a revisar diagramas de procesos en los documentos del PMI. Vamos a ver como evoluciona el tema cuando salgan versiones nuevas.
