This was another fabulous book from Shuler, with an absolutely beautiful cover. I loved the blend of action and emotion. Revisiting past characters and getting to know new ones was great. I am so happy to find her books as part of the Shop Series.

Ileana has had a chaotic life, and in need of escape and a new start, she heads to Oregon. She opens her own little coffee shop, complete with adoptable kittens. Seems strange, right? Not when you're a shifter cat who has a soft spot for those in need.
When the sexy small town cop, Corben, makes his daily presence known, Ileana soon finds out he likes more than just her coffee and sweets.
Corben feels the tug of attraction anytime he's around Ileana, and decides to make his move. Nothing is ever that simple though, and they both soon find out what lengths they will go to prove their love and devotion to each other when danger strikes.
Ileana is showered in protection from Corben and his family, making her feel she's finally found a real home. They take family seriously, and when Ileana finds herself in the face of danger, she has no better backup then them.
This is a sweet story of finding your place, fighting for what you want, and never giving up.
