A compelling mystery promises risk, uncertainty, and a surprising romance for a British author and the American journalist hired to interview him.
When American journalist Ana Doherty enters a London pub to meet British author Ben McKinnon for the purpose of an interview, neither imagines that before the evening ends, an act of violence and a resulting good deed will instantly change both lives. They fall into a partnership and commit to unraveling the mystery, wherever it leads. Their mutual attraction ignites against a backdrop of baffling events and unexpected villains. A daring abduction leads the pair from England to the heart of Spain, where the author quickly finds himself in a dangerous race with time that could result in a deadly outcome.
