This book was short and easy to read. I did not like this book that much because i did not feel that the story was interesting and it did not have a major point. But then again, not every book has to have a major point, but it just did not amuse me in any way. One thing that I noticed was that Tom's mother said that his pet Archie (who was a snail) was not a good pet. I just came to think of how adults sometimes does not see the things that children value, for example, Tom has a snail as his pet, but his mom says that a snail is not a good pet. I think adults need to open their eyes for what children like and to take their perspective.
