Whatever this genre (fantasy, science fiction??), it's not my cup of tea. However, Aseera is the one author that'll make me go out on a limb and try something different. And as usual, I'm glad I did. This book swept me up fast and I was enthralled from the beginning. It moved at a fast pace but I kept stopping to look up words and terminology, some unique to this genre. But that's what I also love about Aseera's writings; fiction or not, I always learn something new. I don't know how this book rates in this genre, but I found it entertaining, chilling and powerful. The writing was so descriptive I could invision the scenes as if I were watching a film. A great read that I'm glad I took a chance on.
I didn't want to get off this journey this book took me on. I appreciated how the author would travel in the storyline from past to present which made the flow of the book easy to follow.
This was a good read. I liked how it gave the history flashbacks in between the current happenings. This was a different take on people with special powers. The hunter met his match
